My monitor sucks, so I have to override the refresh rate to make it work. I used to do that using the dxdiag troubleshoot back when I used dx9. Now that I'm using Vista I can no longer find that function. Can anyone help me locate it?
There, now people might be able to read it a bit better
I'm not saying my english is perfect, but that was just scary..
you have a dx10 card right because if you dont vista defaults to dx 9.0L dx10 has no legacy support
the cards will run dx9 games tho but it doesnt use the dx10 api to do that
no i have 7800GTX but the game run on about 15 FPS on vista i don't know why on XP i got about 35 FPS all option high and 4x FSAA and still its not the DX version that matters i can't find how to override the refresh rate on vista
There is a registry file you can get which adds the option to the nvidia control panel again. For some reason they removed the options for refresh rates at different resolutions, not sure why.
Google it & you'll find it.
