Prob is since i guess it uses the older version of libtiff that the PSP was hacked on. lol Razz

Note : The PS3s user guide says it supports TIFF. Smile

on gamespot.com they showed nintendo wii and it downloads firmware update soon as you connect online. it is not optional

i reckon the PS3 will be hacked like the psp, what with you being able to upgrade the HDD i reckon that some clever person will be able to hack the PS3 so that it reads the game that gets released by groups that you can put on the HDD, abit like the PSP scene, as Blu-Ray media and burners are not really the way to go forward just yet

Hell no! Blu-Ray media is mad expensive! I guess we Xbox360 owners should be thankful Microsoft stuck to the good old DVDs Very Happy

It's expensive now. Just wait until blu ray writers become more common. It was the same with blank cd's and dvd's. The only reason that dual layer disks haven't come down that much is because it's not a market leader.

Although DL media is now dropping in price and sales are picking up due to the XBOX 360 hacks that are allowing people to make "backups" of their original games. Market forces will always play a factor in determining prices I guess, its just the world we live in.
