yep same for me. i try to go back into game but black screen, save dioesnt continue. 1.09 doesnt work for me either and I have original. what a disgrace this is turning out to be. yeah ok they rush games, have bug etc but when the patch dont fix it, you have to raise eyebrows. |
Well that problem i also have, the point of the program is not making you able to continue play but making you able to save the game. If you close the game by using the task manager you can probably still load the save which made the game crash no? |
hehe i know it doesnt let you continue playing but it also doesnt finish the save agme and if I try to load the save game, loading bar stops at half way for ever.

I've played for more than a week now without a single out of memory crash. But hey I'm glad they fixed that and put in more security checks instead of fixing the bugs in the game.

yeah im thinking its all the .ini tweaks that ive done to maximise the detail etc that are making it unstable.

the 1.09 patch still works same as 1.08. using vcd etc but remove the file vc8api.dll from system folder.

the vcd8 i took out is in german dont know the engish version, wont it work with razor? |

Install from Razor release, run from VCDCLONE release. I think this is what you are asking. It works fine.

To do that, you need to have the clone as well to be able to get it running. Properly that is, with all the patches fixes working as they are meant. Or you can look further back in this thread about some way that supposedly gets it running, its a bit dubious though.
Install from razor image
Patch to 1.09
Run game with VCDclone version using Virtual CD 8.0.0.4
This is exactly what I do.

Nope, there isn't a proper 1.09 crack yet. And no, the razor's crack doesn't work on 1.09.

Install the patch, mount image from clone version on Virtual CD 8.0.0.4 and run. That's what si110 is saying.

It will work if you have the VCD Clone. Thats what it is for. Godmyster, easiest thing to do is download the VCD Clone, bit silly some say having 2 images for one game, but is worth it.

i'v heared that Razor's cracked version works slower than licensed one due to bad crack
is it so? Or may be it is game developers error in game code?
sry but i have poor engl skill, so to read 25 pages is damn too hard for me to understand
