Hi, due to the massive disparity in cost of Playstation 3 system and games between UK and the States, I think games are going to be the equivalent of $100 compared to $60, I've decided it's going to be cheaper overall to import one. So can anyone recommend any decent sites to order from.
The problem is most search sites now are so 'Microsoft (I know what you want better than you) clever' they take the fact that I'm from the UK as reason that I only want UK based results.
Sorry if this should be in the games forum.

I don't think the games are, just the movies, but still, Play.com is advertising games at £49, I think the rrp for US games is $60/£30, so even with the cost of postage, which isn't much more than local it just seems to make more sense. I think the system will work out about £100 cheaper as well. The only two downsides I can think of are if the machine get's hacked and the mod is region specific, but if that's the case buying a new UK machine will pay for itself, and the other thing is warranty.

Don't forget that you'll have to pay duty unless you know someone in America and they send it over as a gift.
