Damn good game i must say. Few things i find disturbing tho:

They should fix the merchants to be more effective.

Sometimes as some of you have said, the AI behaivs weird when facing lots of arrows, im playing at the hardest setting so it has nothing to do with that.

I would like to see the units clash togehter more, often it looks like half the units is standing behind the actual battle, kinda lame.

Id like to see a more complex system with your "generals". Would be cool to be abel to choose if you want them focusing on battles or city matters, sutch as trade etc. Same principle as the Big city or Castle system.

Maybe make the soldiers and buildings in general more expensive so you really have to choose wisely what buildings and troops you need. Sometimes it feels like you dont really need to think about you build order very mutch. My strat is to get income buildings first for most places and if you do this you will see that you get very mutch $ pretty fast.

I really would like to see campaign in MP, this would be very very nice!

Comments plz

You are not looking for a "fix", you are looking for a remake.

i think tihs game is pretty fun. The AI needs some tweaking but it should be great once some mods come out (MTR?) anyways. i have like 8 assassins just assassinating Scotland's generals and cardinal. Twisted Evil

Not really, a mod could do those things except the issue with the commanders...

It is funny how the History contradicts your assertions...

Thus "it ALWAYS was his first son"?
"Clovis partitioned his kingdom among his four sons, according to Frankish custom."
"the Carolingians adhered to the custom of partible inheritance, and the Treaty of Verdun in 843 divided the empire in three".

Losers?
"the Carolingian Empire was larger in terms of land mass than the original Roman Empire."

Ty to go back to check your "facts". You are somewhat mixing the absolute monarchy, from the 15th century to the 18th century, with the middle-age...

castles are pretty hard to take over this time around, in medieval 1 you could just attack the inner castle gates with your soldiers but that doesnt work anymore!

Congrats on figuring out how to use the internet to gather information. I'm amazed.

ps2.
Never doubted - what else, i specifically said - that the game could use those feautres you were missing (except for the city view which is just for show), i only argued, that the absence of these features are - by far - not ruining the game.

Dont you think its a bit short sighted of you to think that i would bother to find information from internet to show that you are wrong? Sorry to dissappoint you m8 but you are not that important.

I like the medieval period law-wise on an academic level and thats the reason i whine about stuff most people dont even care about and thats my problem. And I manage to live with it np Razz

I don't give shit of what you think about me. Point is, you picked the only line out of my post you could flame before, and flamed it. Now you are picking the only line you can flame again to flame. I'm not against some flames, if there are arguments attached to it, but you seem either unwilling, or incapable to argue. Both ways, you are pathetic.

Though i don't know why i even bother. You acted pretty much as a jerk in your first post, then you specifically said that you are not going to argue about in game things. So take this as my fare well reply.

You find MTW2 sucks? Your loss.
You don't even want to argue about that opinion? Well then, i guess you just came here to vent some steam. Hope you enjoyed it.

You have to make an army with 1 general and at least 8 units. After that, right click on the general, in the bottom left is a symbol with a crusade. Click it and you're on your way to jerusalem. Very Happy

Yeah portugal friggen turned its back on me, then again i would prolly do the same a bit later when i had a bigger army anway so i dont blame them Very Happy

One reallly funny thing bout the AI diplomacy lol, after the crusade against antioch which was egyptian then, they hated my guts and theathened me to give back the city PLUS MY CAPITAL, or else they'd attack and make me "regret my existence"....
Now, they attacked with 2 archer squads, my catapults made short work of them Very Happy
Then the next turn they are all like "yeeezzz plzz trade agreement??", so i think "what the hell" and add an alliance and they are all "Ooohh thxxx your highnesss, soo generous you are with lots of wiszzzdom" *arabic accent with alot of Z's* Laughing

Btw anyone else think there are way too many flags? lol, i dont even know what the other flags other than the standard unitbanners mean!!

Why does it have to be the King? Had a couple of crusades and no prob with normal generals, though I did not move fast enough so ppl started to desert! Razz

Now this is cool, just finished DLing the Eng version, mounted, used my legit cd key (Ger version) installed and having my legit DVD1 Ger version in the drive all just works, even my saves from the German version is there...I think I will continue with that campaign, I have around 100.000.000 in cash you know Wink

Ye i only replied to you to flame.... But thats not the case you said i didnt know history and thats why i replied on you. Anyway we better not reply on each other again because its obvious you cant be mature about someone else stating facts showing that he is right about some things without flaming. The fact that you base your opinion on me because i acted dissappointed in my first post in this topic shows your incapability to cope with words which dont have your approval. bye, vote bush moron.

I dislike some options in MTW2 i already stated that way before you even joined in, however your first post in reply to me was your "you dont know history post" and that justifies a reply, so dont whine and leave me alone then, thanks in advance.
