I'm looking for a solution to share a USB device over network (its an office printer device with scanner included).
I found a company that has a software called "USB to Ethernet Connector" which shares any USB devices over LAN. Does anybody know a similar software that is cheaper (this is 70€!) or that has been cracked?
Anyways, looks like an interesting concept, I'm surprised nobody has taken an interest in this piece of software yet.

That would probably work fine for printing but I don't know about the scanning part.
I'll give it a try...

As I expected normal sharing didn't work for the scanner part.
Thanks for the Serial.to.Ethernet suggestion but from the product description thats for RS232 (serial port) only. Eltima is the company that produces the USB.to.Ethernet as well so there's a chance it can be cracked too.
