Ok so I've had bf2142 sitting here on my desk sealed in its wrapper for ages I still havent opened it I just really dont know why? I've uinstalled bf2 because I was getting tired of the same old stuff but I want to play 2142 as I only got to play the demo for a few minutes before it kept disconnecting.

I think part of me doesnt want to get addicted to online as I used to be and part of me is saying that the advertisements ingame is an infringement to my personal activities and I dont want to give ea the satisfaction of earning any more £ from me than they already have so what should do?

A. Stop being a pussy and just play/try the damn thing

B. Ebay the shitty game there are better games worth your time like Dark Messiah,Need For Speed Carbon ect.

A guy at work think it owns online, i have no ide because i don't buy games. Pretty ok at big lanparties, so guess you should try it.



...and a friend just sold his wow character because he started with BF2142, he aint complaining tho, think its more of a freedom to sell his wow char Razz

I dont understand why everybody is complaining about ingame advertising i havnt even seen any in the game.... And it dosnt affect your online experience so why care?

I bought it and really tried to play it.. But truth is that BF2 is a lot better IMHO. More fun, funnier weapons, better maps, funnier vehicles and you don't need unlocks in order to be able to do ANYTHING.

So I'm sticking to BF2 for public gaming and clan matches until Quake Wars comes along..

My life is not empty, I'm with my friends a lot and do lots of fun stuff. But nothing can beat getting home from a days work, launch BF2 and just enjoy. It gets me relaxed and I think about absolutely nothing. Thats recreation!

Also I've been weight training for years now infact for the past 2 years I've been going atleast 3 times a week ontop of that I train in self defence, I also ride my bike I can stunt it though not very good I dont have many friends nowadays the reason being because the ones who I used to hang around with were a bad influence on me so I chose to separate myself from them. The few friends I have we usually link up once or twice a week to play snooker/catch a bite to eat.

The only thing im lacking is a woman and yes I havent had sex in AGES! im not joking! big deal though its not really been on my mind and it matters very little if you think I'm a freak because I lack the social skills to engage a "host" because its not even about that Razz

i saw that poll option and thought you were throwing your social life when an addictive and good game comes out .

ps: you don't need to tell me what kind of social activities you do and how long it's been since you last get laid. i just say ;if you spend nights and days infront of this stupid box, which i call PC , you need to stop wasting time.
i may be wrong though. but playing games for 3 hours a day means you are wasting 9 years of your life. (human life is aprox 72 years)
