It's annoying. You expect that when you're staying at uni your internet will be better then it is at home, except I get a 512K connection at uni and I have a 10mbit connection at home.

So for me it's absurd to download 7GIG, it would take a week! I just have to buy em. Sad

it works on my PAL UK machine...

my 2 cents worth...only after 5 mins of play.

I dont like the graphics. There i said it. Very washed out and that leads to my eyes aching Smile

The graphics look technically good, but i would like some more contrast. Also, everything has that texture shine to it. I need some matt.

Gameplay, its just like kill.switch if anyone remembers that. Take cover, pop up, shoot, cover.

It reminds me of whack-a-mole...target pops up, WHACK IT!

My last grievance is the "blood". When you are hit you get a spray of comic style blood on the screen. Doesnt work for me. Also, whats with the red ring of blood in the centre of the screen?


Now i am 35...an ooold gamer so I prefer a bit of realism. COD3 feels 100% better TO ME after the same amount of play.

How are the levels, reviewers say the levels are very diversed and that no building looks alike and that the levels in general look very next gen. Is that really true, if so i think the screenshots don't do the game justice.

Also how long is the single player campaign, i'm thinking of buying it but can't really decide if the sole single player campaign is worth it, i probably won't play much multiplayer.

Edit:

I think the same about the graphics g33b33, at least judging from the screenshots Smile

Yes great Review g33b33 but a little bit of bullshit is in it ^^ If the grafics would be some kind of bullshit or without and fucking variety than it can't get 90-100% everywhere! You don't represent the fucking gamers at this fucking time Very Happy

But of course I would like some snow or some fuck like that too (didn't play it yet Very Happy)

He probably doesn't have his monitor at the right settings, or hasn't even bothered to look at the ingame contrast options.

I have to admit, when I first played SC:DA on my 360, I wasn't as impressed with the graphics as most of the people on here. I changed the ingame brightness and contrast and it looked twice as good. Before it looked how g33b33 describes, washed out with undefinined colours.

I recommend you try messing with these settings g33b33.

I guess it's easy to be dissapointed with this game though, it's hyped to shit and if something isn't perfect you're much more likely to notice it because of this.

Well if we didn't download the update..we wouldn't be able to play it.

Anyway, I think that the graphics are great...and I LOVE the blood. I think that this ones a winner.

Why is the ring in the middle of the screen? To signify that you are injured and that you need to take cover ASAP, much in the same way that COD2 and 3 does it only with a slightly different graphical representation. Is this game repetative? Sure it is...show me a game that isn't when all is said and done. Is 5 mins of play long enough to form a clear enough opinion on a game that your comments on it would actualy equate to anything worth while and reprasentative of quality of the game? Of course not.

This is a good game. It's not the best game that I've ever played but it's definetely better than 99% of the crap that gets thrown our way these days, so that's something atleast.

technically, every game is repetitive. I don't see why it's ever an issue. Otherwise games would be frustrating and you'd never really adapt to them.
