ok skill2 my crew member is a man with a cayman s and i can't autculpt
and level 3 is a woman with the skill3 and she ahs a ford gt40 and i can't autosculpt my lambo or dodge 2

i have a problem...
i can't turn ON the Motion Blur, under advanced video settings...
anyone knows why?? everything else is ON and HIGH, except for FSAA which is 2x.

Yeah, a lot of people have been asking why their Motion Blur option is greyed out. Well its because the Motion Blur used in NFS:Carbon is displayed via a SM 3 method. Basically you need a Shader Model 3 video card to enable it.
That includes the Geforce 6/7 series and Radeon 1K series.
Don't worry your not missing out, the motion blur is complete garbage anyway.

i agree - motion blur is just too OVERDONE in carbon esp. The blur sh;d only be visible at 200 plus speeds or NOS only. The blur that u get at 80kmph looks way overimplimented..
Overall I find carbon crashes if u press Alt + F4 within a race, anyone else seeing that prob ?

I agree with you guys to a extent, I think the motion blur is utter crap in Carbon. But do you notice that when you disable it the little sense of speed it provided goes out the window.
When i play with no Blur the game looks like im crawling across the road even at 150Mph. Thats all the blur really did is give a sensation of speed while it decreased performance a ton, made all the textures look bad, blocked your vision, and just annoyed you haha.

installed, started, game runs quite good on amd3000+ gb ddr4oo and gf 6600 400@622, although it sometimes crushes to desktop and also sometimes I have problems with quiting the game (just hangs to dead similar to phychoo07 yet am able to use ctrl alt del to shut it down manually), am using 77.00 drivers any ideas? Maybe 1911's exe suckzz ?

Cant install the game at all, it just says i need DirectX version 0 to install, whats up with this shit?

Have orginal game and same problem :/ Sometime drop to windows and when quit game black screen and hang up :/

firewall issue? hmmmm am using Kaspersky anti vir and Kerio Personal Firewall...  maybe I need to look it up in those two... goddamit, why is that always are some damn problems... all of suden I realised that when I use MOUSE to switch off the game it works all time, although it needs some time to close aplication... damn EA, cant they make single ubugged game? First unplayable BF2142 and now crappy NFS turning off shit... CONGRATULATIONS EA U DID GREAT JOB.... now am really pissed off...

i have no problems with the game...runs sweet and no need for the "compatibility with windows 2K",BUT i do have a problem...more than a problem,a question.
In the game's "LANGUAGES" folder there are some files that contains the "Spanish" word in it...
i tought the game would just be in english,but noticing that makes me wonder: Is there a way to convert my english NFSC (From RELOADED) into Spanish?
Another lil question: can i buy the coloured lights under the car,just like NFSU1 n 2?...since Most Owned it killed it...

I dunno about the release being multi language but after playing through the game it looks like EA killed the Neon car lights, they are no where to be found.
Someone correct me if im wrong, maybe i just didn't come across them but I hated them anyway because they would totally destroy a beautiful car like a SLR or Cayman.

I still have the crashick to desktop problem. I wanna play this game so bad!...
Im @ the first boss now. And play'd those races like 5 times. Because it csashes to desktop randomly it isn't saved after the boss yet. So this is really f@#$ up for me!
I hope some can help me solve this problem. I use newest nvidia+DX. Still the same problem. I tried win 2000 modus. But the graphics fuck up in that mode. So i dont think that can solve this.
New laptop: i7-3630QM / 8GB / Nvidia 650M 1GB / 500GB

Set car reflection rate to off for better performance
Also you can set shader to medium or low
But the quit problem is ridiculous............

before running nfs open any small program or window,run nfs,play..when done,save...alt+tab then ctrl+alt+del..end process and thats it.
