again... Because the education system is controlled by deluded leftys.
I'm not against it because I hate islam or any religion teaching, but against the lies they sell to the children.
They make the kids believe that the arabs are their friends and everything is cool, when the opposite is the truth. These kids someday will have to go to the army and deffend and build up their country.
Imagine yourself a soldier who was taught in school that arabs are friends, and now he actualy needs to fight them?
Teaching about islam may be a good thing only if it would be put to proportions, thus teaching also about the wars, disagreements, and problems Israel has with this religion.
While the kids in muslim countries are taught to hate the jews, here they try to grow up a bunch of hipies.
In my high-school they brought once an X-palestinian terrorist and a lefty to tell us about peace. I told him that his lectures worth nothing compared to the muslim worldwide incitement machine. |

So instead of progressing upon peace and understandment, we have to ban everything different, and teachings about other cultures? Your little sister is going to learn that there is a life on the other side of your stone wall of gaza, knowing that there are people celebrating a day which is considered X-mas by the Arabic world. And apparently you should attend her classes aswell.

Mark, I don't know how's it in Be'er-Sheva, but in my school they teach us of all the aspects of the conflict. We choose what we choose to believe in from these various choices of what we think is right to do. As part of the democratic system, your sister should learn about all the way a people can think and should also know how the other side thinks and works, in friendly aspects or hostile aspects, whatever you choose.

Just be glad your sister doesn't live in the US, where public education is shit.
What i don't like is that the kids are forced to write something good about the holiday, rather than anything they want, its just enforced tolerance, which is stupid.

That they're a problem that cannot be ignored.
Most of them want to have equal rights (especialy social rights), while unwilling to serve the state like any other citizen.
Most of them describe themselves as palestinians while having an israeli I.D.
They don't recognise Israel as a jewish state while waiting for a palestinian one and that's hypocrisy, they want to dance on 2 weddings.
To sum things up- I would be glad if those unloyal israeli palestinians would live in Palestine.
