Now, just they promised alot better game, but thats what they said about Fifa 2004 and quite frankly after few games I got bored of it, no viarity no nothing, same shit pver and over, not to mention cheating AI, Im gonna give EA one last chance with this, and if they fuck this up Im turning anti-EA.
And I still think, PES/WE also sucks, I hope someone can create a nice football game soon.

Agree with you, it does suck, but it's also the best football game by far... so go figure. Anyway I'll be here to console you when you discover the awful truth, prepare yourself for disappointment and get that pre-order for PES4 in pronto

Please, stop trolling in here, this is a Fifa 2005 demo discussion.
Anyways, the demo was a blast, even tho I couldnt change any settings I had a total blast playing this, it looks like they totally redid the game engine, it appears to be more life like, the movments, tackling, shooting, passing ......this demo owns Fifa 2004 demo and the final product, same goes for Euro 2004, Fifa 2005 is definatly on the right track.

Its obvious you didnt play Fifa 2005 demo, your just anti-fifa and anti-ea all together, just shut up
Fifa 2005 is nothing like Fifa 04 and 03, both were crap, and if you think it is, you are a dumbass.

you seem to have reverted to your old self, you were saying exactly the same were you not about EURO 2004? Which as we all know is exactly the same as FIFA 2004 only worser because it doesn't have the same amount of teams, players or game modes.

I really hate the FIFA series but the latest releases have intrigued me a little bit. That off-the-ball thing seems interesting but it's unfortunate I don't have the degree in computer science required to know how to work the fucker.
PES is and always will be the only football series worth bothering about.

This one is WAY better than the last two.. It finally gives me back that Fifa feeling I used to love.
Not as good as PES3, but this will be a very good game

I never said the same stuff about Euro 2004, never ever, dont put words in my mouth.
Anyways, this is definatly a good demo, the final product should be great, just finished playing the demo for 30 minutes, and I still enjoyed it alot, it seems like EA hierd new people to work on their games, but all in all Fifa 2005 demo was excellent, blows PES3 away(and thats just the demo), bring on Fifa 2005!

Yup I have to agree with you on most points.. You can actually feel it in the menu already, its smooth and the fifa 2004 felt choppy as hell.
Can't wait to see Ronaldinho and Zidane's special moves..
Oh btw ppl stop bashing this game if you didnt even try it

when i say i tried it 5 mins, that's what i did, what would be the point of lying?
and this IS just like fifa04...what's the big improvement in your opinion, anyways?

Conceded.
I haven't felt this good about a FIFA game in absolutely ages, for the first time they really have delivered and you can trust me when I say this. Although it's still FIFA 2003/2004/EURO 2004 underneath it has been refined and polished to a much greater degree and it really is a more satisfying to play the game.
Graphically it's even better, more crisp, optimised and if my inkling is right not even on the highest detail settings yet.
It's very late at night and I played only two halfs with a keyboard no less (my ps2 is downstairs) - but things are looking up and Konami can no longer be slouches.
honestly try it

Damn, the graphics engine is amazing, Im playing on 1600x1200x32 2aa 2af, I get steady 80fps, I mean OMG, the last installment of this game ran about 40-50 at 1280x1024x32 4xaa 4xaf, damn, I truely cannot wait for this game, its gonna kick ass.
The gameplay feels so true to life, the players are sooo nicely done, I can easily tell who is who just by looking at them, just great!
Well done EA!

Is the scrolling smooth ? i know its shallow but the previous incarnations with their jerko/scroll (even at 100fps) did not impress me
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????
