hey i still can't play it i mount the mds file on the new daemon tools
i used prot stop and then run it no luck prot stop with procyon loader no luck and also just procyon loader also no luck
can someone help me?
don't want to unplug my dvd drive
1.load the dark_messiah with daemon tools with emulation-all options on,dont run the game,exit it.
2.go to start->run->regedit->hkey_local_machine->system->mounted_devices
3.find in here your daemon tools virtual drive(for me its \dosdevices\G: ) and rename it to
\dosdevices\G.h:
you can put any letter not only the "h"
4.run the game without any loader
5.have fun using old trick
anyway short game needed like 6h to finish it

Gothic 3 in 7 days , fear xp in 4h , DM in 6h ... next (anyway H-L 2 was longer took me 3 days to finish it )
anyway the only bug that was irritating was the 0,5 sec lag some times ... it was not a slow down but the sound some times was laging (only in the animations not in the movies ) could be a directx bug with the sound acceleration

Well I haven't completed this yet but i'm really fucking enjoying it! It's such a satisfying game to play, even though I know it's not that long i've enjoyed every minute of it so far.
The only other game that i've enjoyed this much in recent memory was Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I've bought it by the way, and it feels like a worthy investment.
There is such a massive amount of ways you can approach combat, and it's so viceral and improvised. You know, you're fighting one guy then another comes running in, so you have to adjust, because you can't fight two people the same way you fight one. You have to keep on the move, these guys don't take it in turns. You keep looking for the higher ground and ways you can get an advantage, any advantage.
It's nowhere near as simple as Assassin, Warrior, Mage. It's the closest i've seen to real medieval fighting, easily. LOVE IT!

Indeed the game just rocks. Even thought its liniar, you have to always watch out for secrets which you can easly miss. The combat is simple but freaking fun. Each fight feels somehow different, which is good. So far i like it.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.
hmmm dont know whats going on just started playing. whenever I equip the sword I cant see anything at all, just my hands. if I unequip all is fine again. anybpdy else get this?

Woho, i managed to get stuck. Im in the end of chapter 6, iv climed up to the stupid spider statue (2nd time), it turned, and 'she' said something like, how do you know thats the right way or something, when i went to the gate - but i can't get thru the gate.. So do i have to go back or something? I went back to where i killed the boss, nothing happens there either :S
fuck sake.its like anything i equip even a crate and the screen goes black, I can only see my hands but nothing else.bah will have to try the cracked version then.

just finished this great game, and for the first time in years i actually want to replay a game! The first time i was a pure fighter, it certainly was cool though i was so powerful that noone could really hurt me, this time around ill try a stealth build, anyone with any good tips?
unprotected game files works with PROCYON release?
Unprotected as in no crack?, if that's the case then yea. Just use Pr0t St0p and then the PROCYON launcher. Be sure not to have Blindwrite or something like that in the background as the launcher will tell you that there is a Emulation Conflict blah blah.

to me that sound like a Driver prob...or GPU prob...I think a crack will not fix that...maybe a patch.

lol and people say gothic3 is bugged, have you read the forums about this game?to fix my probelm with screen going black I have to turn off AA. total shite.

Running all maxed here, only bug I got so far was in roping up to close to a corner and got stuck i a wall. I think it might not be optimized for all gracards for some reason and a patch should fix that. But hey G3 was riddled with bugs to the point where the quests didn't even work. A graphic glitch don't really compare to that beta crap game G3.

Its buggy allright, but its fun. Had a nice fight on some stairs last night outside the elevator to temple, kicking down barrels AND a orc into his buddies down the stairs is a blast.. Then I had one overpower me, pick me up and toss ME over the side.. wtf, no fair!
