To avoid using the patches (same for 1.07) as an exploit:
- unequip all items
- save game
- apply patch
- load game

- Lensflare/Sun doesn't shine through mountains and buildings anymore
- Rhobar and Zuben are dead after defeating them
- Revolution mechanics improved
- Lester does now talk even when not sitting at the campfire

- "No mission success after 2 times "not enough gold" fixed

- Glowing vegetation bug in older shader versions has been fixed
- Several crashes and bugs related to the physics system have been fixed
- Flickering objects and invisible particle systems bugs (mostly fire) were fixed
- Some bugs were fixed which lead to the hero being invisible after loading
- Some bugs were fixed which lead to skeletons and golems disapperaing after death
- Z-Fighting bugs and alpha object order bugs were fixed, especially magic barrier vs. sky plane
- Several bugs with rendering objects under water were fixed
- An illumination crash bug on multicore systems was fixed
- Several bugs and optimizations relating the the dynamic music system were done
- A bug was fixed that lead to the damage value for modified weapons being not be displayed correctly
- The mouse cursor sometimes appeared at wrong positions. This was fixed.
- We fixed a bug where, after loading a save game, unique treasure chests would hand out the first item in the list again
- A bug in the soul travel spell was fixed (hero did not recognize that he has transformed back, resulting in an invincible state)
- The height of wade- and swim effects was adjusted
- A bug was fixed that calculated the fall damage (sometimes too low)
- Fixed a bug where skills granted by items would not be shown as enabled
- Fixed a bug where when running in fullscreen and using draw scale the GUI's mouse sensitivity would be reduced
- A crash was fixed that sometimes happened after casting the fire rain spell
- Several bugs related to the Pause mode and Quickload/Quicksave were fixed
- Several optimizations related to arrows were done
- Bugs related to following NPCs were fixed
- A bugs was fixed that reversed the order of tabs in the mission screen

Yes the patch fixes of what I've noticed from 30min of playtime:
Boars, various beasts, player spells have higher hitrate meaning if you have clear line of sight you are certain of a hit.
Some AI pathing issues, performance seems better no loading lag not mentionable atleast.
Really the only bugs which annoyed me so I'm still happy I bought the game with this kind of support and mention of an upcoming expansion pack.

yes, and strues of god's. Dont wory there is one in evry city. But one dont know all, Only hunter can incris ure huntink skille and wariors can onli incris ure fighting skill and sth and so on.

or you can create permanent potions that increase an attribute, or eat the plants that are ingredients in permanent potions (although they have a lesser effect)

To finish the actual quest you have to loot the chest that is named "City Treasury". You require "Open Difficult/hard locks", or an Open spell scroll, to open it. Why you need that skill to finish a quest you will realise once you finish it and return to the questgiver.
Also watch out while downthere. As we all know the occlusion in this game isn't all that wonderful... meaning someone on the first floor might actually catch you in the act while you are looting the basement. So save first, sneak out after you'r done, and all that.
There is a treasury in Trelis in a basement Under the commander Vek's room.
There are 3 chests there if I remember correctly. That's what you have to loot
Well some people say that the shaman at the dig site has an amulet. And they refer to it as an artifact. Yet this aint the amulet youre after.
I got high rep with Trelis Orcs and went to the dig site and whopped the shamans ass. Now that i had high rep i could just kick his ass and the others wouldnt interfere. As i didnt kill him having that high repuation. Considered a brawl or something.
As i got the amulet from his inventory when he was unconcious the quest DID NOT FINNISH. So i went to talk to the town leader at Trelis which i had talked to previously already and hes asking for 50 000 gold. When you give him that gold he gives you the amulet.
I guess there is some other ways to get it too, maybe. But i just had enough money already and knew i was gonna get more so i just payed him to get it the "easy" way.
Long story short: Amulet is on the leader of Trellis. Can get it by paying him. Dunno about other ways

Well is a main quest or not?
If it is in blue then its a main quest, if it is in red it is a side quest.

How do you do that, when i insert the virtual dvd into the real drive, after starting the game the dvd is thrown out of the drive inmediately and gives the error after 2 secs ( with patch 1.08 )
It seems they've blacklisted the method in some way.
Anybody ?
