hmmm... the crack dont seem to work for me... dled the RLD version... what are u guys usin mostly.

nooooo just finished the game, and it was very short in my opinion
and could anybody explain the whole storyline of the expansion pack to me cuz i dont get this points:
 Spoiler: | 1)h ow come that bad guy i shot in FEAR comes back?
2) in one interval u see that Jon Girl of my team speak to one strange body and then she gets killed who was that person she was talking too??
3) what is the point of that girl protecting me all the time and kill all the bad guys
4) what happens to me after the black hawk explosion?? |

The dev team should've stuck with RTS games... VUG needed someone to make a cheap and unimportant FEAR-milking crap, so the contracted whatever was in yellow pages first. VUG should've faced the fact that without Monolith, there is not FEAR.

i used to have a sound problem with fear back in the past , and i solved it by installing sound fix file..but since i did i t, i reinstalled windows. now i have the same problem with the expentions pack..no voices.
anyone remember what to do or what file i have to download to fix this?

I remember i had the same problem and found a solution on the official FEAR forums. It involved not having the appropriate audio codecs the game needs for its voices/sounds.
All i did was install K-Lite Codec Pack and the problems were gone, but a lot of people suggest you install specifically the appropriate codec instead of a big package. Look around on the FEAR forums and you'll figure out which one you need.

Funny, as most games hate those stupid codec packs (I do too). They usually install shit load of crap, and then mess with some games. The best solution would be to install the appropriate codec by itself. I think FEAR uses OGG for its sound files.

hey just wanted to know... does the expansion require more form the CPU or somethin cus the original FEAR ran pretty ok most of the time but this expansion really was jerky for me.

Are you using an ATi card? If you are rename the fear exe to FEAR so its recognized by the drivers and your performance should be close to the originals.
