Try one of those servers that got 200 spots max and 1000MB/s speed, should be fast. Got mine over 300k the whole time.

I have mixed feelings about it.
Where is the "look back" button/option?
Why are all the options in the same menu?
And why is there only half the options as in previous NF Speeds.
Drifting is very unrealistic and way to easy.
Those "speed" stripes behind the car when you race just look stupid.
I know that its still a demo, but the time's running out to make any more changes.

OH MY GOD....
And i tought the xbox 360 demo was bad! LOL
Jesus christ, at least i tought it might be as good as Most Wanted (which wasnt all that good anyway for a racing game, but super good for a NFS game).
But this is seriously a huge step backwards. The graphics SUCK, and look at what happens when you turn off motion blur, lol the ground actually gets a texture! I mean geez i usually like motion blur and such crap, but OMG here it was so exaggerated that i find no words to describe it other than "No-Textures-Mode"!
OMg, lol im so surprised. It looks extremely crappy, at least Most Wanted had pretty damn nice road shaders and enviroments, especially the volumetric light thing at sunsets shining trough trees etc.
And at least Most Wanted had some pretty okay physics, was actually fun to drive!
This is just, omg. Tried all 3 cars and ALL of them handle completely awful. (not as in hard, as in on a railroad track!)
This game is more like a Valusoft street racing game than a big studio game, which its supposed to be.
Did the actual developers ever play the game themselves? Omg.
Well, at least the autosculpt function is cool and innovative. Too bad the rest of the game sucks, why couldnt it at least be Most Wanted but more focus on racing then on cops, and at night??? Why fuck up the entire game? Omg!

I thought the game was pretty fun...
The Options are not available in the Demo...
You can use a higher Resolution and change alot of options when the Original is released...
Drifting is kinda so, so... Its strange and feels like the game is Drifting for you, but its extremely fun to make Dough nuts when Drifting...
This game is 100% better than Most Wanted in car handling for sure...
You can drift in all the races if you know how to, or instead of slowing down slap your handbrake fast and then start drifting around corners... Thats extremely fun...

It was ok, drifting was fun, but the Canyon racing was hard, couldn't do it. The handling is better I might possibly buy the game.
I still prefer NFS:MW.

I tried to install the demo, but it tells me it can't install because I dont have Direct X 10 installed. Direct X 10 is out already?
Actually it says Direct X 0 not installed.

Having expected nothing good from the demo after seeing how NFS:MW was, I really can't say I'm disapointed. Canyon mode was fun, a reminder of the downhill drift from NFSU 2, but apart from that, it's average, at best. Not a game worth buying.

What are you talking about?
Graphics are better than most wanted (remember now is night),only bad for me is the reflections at cars that look like fifa reflections.........If you havent card to run graphics at max details dont tell that graphics are bad.
As for handling is same as most wanted and dont forget that is arcade racing NOT SIMULATION.
I agree that drifting is ridiculous,seems too fast but i am waiting the full version to check for something i think.....

cant seem to play on any resolution other then 640x480.. anytime i change to higher game crashes during load screen. any idea? using ATI ARDEON 9800 PRO with Catalyst 6.2 drivers, directx 9.0c updated.

Did you try setting the resolution, then quitting the game and then try to start it? Seemed to work for me, crashed the first time here also after changing resolution.

I got an X800XL which is still considered an okay card, and yet even on highest setting the game looked like shit. NFS:MW was just so much better.

Cars are surrounded with this mysterious glow, lol... It's just bad, any aspect of this game is bad. They should've taken the MW formula to the next step, not that crappy UG.
And this idiot shouting "good job", "be careful"... ARGH! After 2-3 minutes of gameplay, I wanted to bring another crew member to stop him from talking!
