i swear to god this game is trying to seriously piss me off.. I've found countless of mage and stealth armors but when i finally find a armor suited for a warrior the whole place falls apart and i die if i get close to the armor.. Any one had luck in getting it ? its in a hut on some mountains

you can shoot some ropes into the ceiling and jump from one to the next without getting too close to the ground and grab the stuff

oh and...this game is cool. it didn't crash at all while I played through and the only bug I saw was one enemy falling through the ground at some point. I really liked this game, it's got cool scripted events, nice music, and the story doesnt suck as much as gamespot says. I have no idea what's their problem but this is truly one of the better games this year. Might not be perfect but it sure is good.
Maybe the reviewer just doesnt like this type of game or something...

Move slowly crouching until you are close enough to grab it. Worked for me.

fucking bullshit ... downgrade your drivers to play Laughing first they say install the new ones and then downgrade

this remembers me a doctor joke :
Doctors allways say three things , if you are fat then loose weight , if you smoke then quit , if you drink too much alcohol then don`t drink some much ... but if you are not fat , you don`t smoke , and don`t drink ... then they say you are to healthy to be cured Laughing

There are reports that is actualy solves the performance problem and a crash in chapter 4 Very Happy

I wasted more time making this game to work then I did playing it, uninstalled. Will come baack to it in a month or so, maybe by then it'll be fixed... maybe... Confused

I love it, its pure "sweaty mouse hand, crap forgot to hit 4 to heal!, adrenaline, click click click" pure action!
I wish they would have done a LOTR game like this Wink Running on all high basically, not a crash or bug so far. Having a hell of time to climb up in that huge well like thing after the 1st spiders in the temple "Rope Bow, climb, jump, fall, Arghhhhh!, CRAP!...again" Razz

Interesting, almost every major game comes out with serious show-stopping bugs... I can't remember it being so 3-4 years ago, when PC gaming was at its peak. Nowdays, developers rush PC games, so they can focus on some crappy console shit they have to work on...

Play 92.91 still on my 6800 GT AGP and haven't any problem with crashes, they guy whom setup this idea to redo such driver re-install have no idea how his XP with drivers works!
The only problem with getting stuck is the health bar, its took so little energy update each time after eating food that its more a reload and slaughter party then full playing the game..

Haha, no. No hdd access at all. It just stops. % minute load times I can handle, but I let it sit at that screen for 12+ hours (I went to bed ). Sure enough it was still "loading".

Oh well, at least I haven't seem to be as buggy as everyone else here. I'm gonna try to play on high textures though to see what kind of stutter I get. Medium textures with high on everything else works fine enough, cept the loading bs.

hey i still can't play it i mount the mds file on the new daemon tools
i used prot stop and then run it no luck prot stop with procyon loader no luck and also just procyon loader also no luck Sad
can someone help me?
don't want to unplug my dvd drive

1.load the dark_messiah with daemon tools with emulation-all options on,dont run the game,exit it.
2.go to start->run->regedit->hkey_local_machine->system->mounted_devices
3.find in here your daemon tools virtual drive(for me its \dosdevices\G: ) and rename it to
\dosdevices\G.h:
you can put any letter not only the "h"
4.run the game without any loader
5.have fun using old trick

anyway short game needed like 6h to finish it


Well i tried this trick too, my virtual drive device stood always on M: so i renamed it to M.h: or M.t: or M.whatever and it won't run with or without the loader, i just ran 1 virtual device, what doing i am wrong then ?

I'm stuck, not sure where abouts, I'm in the big crypt trying to find the skull and I need to locate the 3 gems for the spider statue, I found the first one but no idea where the other two are, I was hoping another door would open up when I returned the gem but I get that little cut scene and thats it.
