Not lego, but something about the scale makes it look like a model, not real.

Very strange screens! it does indeed look like a model - plus the people look totally out of scale to the buildings.

Wish it was. That would be awesome. Lego: Anno 1701, Lego Battlefield 2 or Lego: Grand Theft Auto......

I could never get into the first Anno games, but I do love Settlers Smile

Hopefully this game is more interesting, I like 1700+ more than 1500 and 1600 Smile

The game is quite fun. It does resemble a little bit of settlers but it isn't settlers. Nice graphics and a perfect time killer. That is if you have to much free time.

Yea tried the demo, never played any ANNO games before. Not bad, but as you said "perfect time killer" I think I will wait for MTWII to kill my time Razz
Actually a question...how do you get the blur effects in game?, I had all set to highest and never saw the blurry stuff seen in the screens in this thread.

Hm weird I did not see that in my options, running a 7800GTX 512 so should not really be a prob.

Anno 1503 was great. Smile
The demo is eye candy (coming from Anno 1503's 2D and low res), the gameplay have optimizations (no need to do manually the plantations, better trade system, etc) and the game seems already polished: i will look forward for this game.

The performance was a bit sketchy (P4 3.0ghz 2GB ram, 128 mb x800GT) and with high and no anti-aliasing, and 8x AF it was a bit rough when I jumped from area to area.
Otherwise interesting. Any unlocks for the demo?

I don't understand why it's not been released yet. It has tages but you can make a workaround with vcd8 so what's the matter with the clonegroups ?
