Maybe we're not talkinga bout the same problem...

Here's the error I get while installing.

Feature:Default Feature
Component: Default Component
File: E:\data2.cab
Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

I've unpacked the CD from the Rar's about 15 times..I dont think thats the issue.

Very wierd...did you overwrite your origional un-rar? That doesnt sound like a fix at all? Just sounds to me like the image is fucked up.

no i just un-rar it somewhere else ,and i think you have right that cd1 image could be fucked

yes i downloaded cd1 from other links but i get the same crc error like with old cd1 for the first time i think that in RECHARGED release cd1 is broken(or you need to burn it with BlintWrite but i think even then there will be that CRC error)

Might as well take this version down off the nfo list..it's confirmed as broken on many sites.

A nice nfo full of nonsense. They claim sfclones never work, so they definitely have no clue what they're talking about. Every SF protected game runs flawlessly using Daemon Tools and a good image. Procyon are just too stupid to create decent images.

Did ANYONE actually get this one to work ??

I tried burning it, no go.
I tried using the latest D-tools with all emulations
Prot-Stop
SecureRom Loader
Sd4Hide

and pretty much any combinations of these, no go, always emulation detected or a security module can't be loaded.

Has anyone gotten it working and how did you do it ?

I installed the Unleashed release, tried to start it with:

prot stop
sr7 loader
asr

It won't start. Sad (Even the original EAW won't start)

Hey Koliblank,

How about a mini review? Do you like the game so far? Is it better than Empire at War? I hear the ground battles are much more improved with larger maps?

Thanks,

MD
