Yes but u have to uninstall BlindWrite or it will always tell you Emulation blabla found.

well the game finally worked but only with the mm,exe file posted here the graphics are incredible so far its a really nice game still it wont matter in a matter of days nw2 will show every rpg out there who is the real king

Yeah a blank steam account with pacsteam, I get it. That just stops Valve from banning your normal account.
What I was referring to was it looking to your normal legit steam install location and stealing your login/pass info from there.
And something like that would NOT be detected by an anti virus.
Kinda like those supposed cheat things for diablo 2 or WoW that steal your account info. |
The thing is, Pacsteam is a Steam Client itself. You don't have to have Legit Steam installed at all for it to work. Sure, your theory could still be possible, IF they had it installed, but why would someone who programmed a program that REALLY lets you download and play any game on steam for free, want to steal a legit steam account for? |
Who wouldn't refuse a steam account if they could get one? Key/account stealers have been made for a number of games in the past, and will continue to be made. I'm not saying this is one, I'm just saying the risk is there.

i have the original and it crashes out. The prologue plays fine, but when gets to where it loads stronghelm it crashes out with a mm.exe error... you think using the cracked/demo mm.exe will help?

I think using the demo would not help you there man. I would propose to check some DMMM forums for that one... |

I have the exact same problem, although I never get an error message - my comp just dies...no input to screen and keyboard stops working...heh...

Just did some searching for your mm.exe error. Got some hits. some ppl say they had this a lot in the demo. Solution (this is weird) set the exe to run in Win2000 mode. Maybe worth a try at least.

So...those who crash after 1st level..did you try to load your last save and have another go? Mine crashed at chapter 1 loading screen (or something) never crashed after that. (using demo.exe)
