I wonder, though... Are the bugs that were in the demo in the full game as well, when using the demo exe?

i doubt a 3.3mb .exe could contain all those bugs.

seriously though its just the code to execute the whole shibang, not the shibang itself.

Well, sometimes EXEs contain the entire engine and the rest of the files is content (maps, textures).

Damn this game is buggy, it already crashed to desktop 2 times with 2 different errors in single player and also hung up in a multiplayer game. Nice game thou, runs well on pretty much everything maxed on my old system Smile

maybe gothic3 on your system infected it?
all the rage these days it seems to not fully bugtest or rush out games unpolished etc.

Crashes during the first map load after completing the tutorial, will have to experiment further but it's kinda annoying. (Don't want to use the map command either, could break stuff)

Aside from that all new commands seem to start with mm_
(mm_collector 0/1 being most interesting but it resets to 0 every time i play)

game is pretty cool
but I get crashes everywhere
first on the loading to the 1st map
then on the loading after that
then on the loading to the 2nd chapter
and now I got 2 ingame crashes while walking aroung =/

I waste more time restarting and loading than playing the actual game ^^

edit: my crashes occured with demo exe, without it(just the normal exe) and with asr loader(normal exe) so my guess is, it's the game or my comp or both =)

I just ran my shortcut to "mm.exe" without any tools and it worked, same with the fear expansion if that matters, my DVD is external so I usually switch it off when I don't need it wich has proven very usefull with clones.

Obviously I don't use the demo exe either.

Will have to try it with a loader/hider to see if securom is doing something it shouldn't.

I've had no problems with the demo exe so far..not a single crash and ive finished quite a few "maps" already.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

So how large are the levels ?
Are they linear or can you choose between multiple paths to the objective ?

Played for 2-3h
So far it seems pretty linear or at least the path you can take is somewhat linear.
But there are multipe FUN ways to kill the enemies Very Happy

the levels are splitted into "sections", so a level is large but there is loading between the sections
