Yeah serial is required, in this format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX get nfo elsewhere, because nforce removes serials.

You must patch the original exe. Most patchers check size differences and will fail if the file doesn't match what 1.0 was in size.

If the patcher doesnt accept cracked exe, then copy it from the FEAR iso, its FEAR.ex_, rename to FEAR.exe

Fear.ex_ is compressed, I doubt it will work if you rename it to Fear.exe. You have to uncompress it which will then supply Fear.exe. The only way I know how to uncompress it is to install the game.

I have been looking forward to this expansion!! I played Fear from beginning to end and loved it! The ending was phenomenal. When the game ended I was just sitting there thinking I wish I had Fear 2 or the expansion right now. I wanted so badly to see what was going to happen next. I enjoyed the realistic fire fights and story the most. I cannot wait to learn more about this great story.

I played the clone version when it was out and didn't burn it... now let's say I would like a cracked DVD version,.. theres deviance who released a CD version and emporio a DVD version, but it is nuked for "bullshit wannabe group" (well at least here). I guess it's still a proper release?
EDIT: Seem this release didn't spread, guess I'll have to grab AlcoholClone + IND crack (or update + 1.8 crack) and transform this shit into a .iso so it can be burned.

Ok, maybe compressed is the wrong term. But explain why there is an underscore then? Look at a Windows XP I386 directory and 95% of the files have the underscore at the end. Why put an underscore if it's not comperessed or something. Why not just leave it alone.
Did you rename Fear.ex_ to Fear.exe? Did it work? If so then I am wrong, I just thought there was something different about the underscore files.

I tested it and it works. I think they left it for some reason and installshield uses this renaming technique inside the archives. And in windows if the file is renamed that way it doesnt mean its compressed. It works perfectly renamed.

humm im having trouble updating the game...
i have a fear dvd image (the one thats at torrentspy.com an such, its a .mdf image) and its the director's edition dvd...
when i try and install extraction point it asks to patch to 1.07 but then it says the language doesn't match?
wtf...
any ideas?

check the readme file for the info if you have a eng or a engGB version and sinstal the right patch
and whythefuck more and more game topics turn into a tech section ... to much noob can`t open NFOs or what ??!! |
