Talk to statues of Innos/Beliar or just talk to people who look like they know what they are doing. (Talk to a smith to learn about that skill or a hunter to learn about that skill)

A weapon trainer will most likely teach you strength while a hunter would teach dexterity.
A good place to train is the first rebel camp you find early in the game.

Actually it says they're gonna release a patch soon and _not_ as late as five or six weeks. |
well that explains everything ... looks like the Us version will have this patch added and the German and Euro people would have to suck it down from the netz |

i think the game fucking rocks! The graphics are great, and i really dont mind the sttutering, it's okay once you get used to it, and the smooth distance effect looking far out is lovely.
I have gon through my first bug, when entering the arena my assistant Cotton fights the first thing he sees and gets killed, but shit, fuck it, too bad but if he's that bugged i wont use him.
I think the atmosphere of the game is brilliant, it really gives you room to get your imagination going and to really act the nameless hero out in your head. I think the fact you actually HEAR the conversations is nice, better then the "one word quest buyer" system some other games have. I have played the first and second gothic and loved them both, and now i see that this is the best pirahna bytes did yet. I really like this game, and i even forgive the long loads and everything cos the atmosphere is great

I'm really enjoying it, even with the incredibly annoying white flashing which I still can't get rid of. Do you know if there is any harm in helping both sides out, the rebels and the orcs? If I clear a town of orcs will the occupying rebels take over and offer more quests or should I complete all the orc quests before killing them? I don't like missing quests out!

well like i knew it would happen for sure the game is sitting on my shelf and nothing can be done about it till next month till the us release so for now hope that dark messiah will bring the gold:) ..still not sure usually every might and magic game sucks hope this one goes beyond everybody expactation

Did anyone try pressing F8 in the game, i dont know wtf is happening but whenver i press it i get full health and enemies cant do any dmg to me for a few seconds. But it also makes me imobile. No i dont have any trainers or anything. Even when you die and it says Game Over, you can still press F8 and you'll be magicly resurected.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

i keep beating the crap out of them but they always ressurrect!! fuck them

stand abow tehm/ on tehm hold Rmb tehn press and hold Lmb, just like the stab atck but now he will stab tehm on the ground and they will die.

Try holding right mouse button and pressing the left, he'll do a sort of stabbing motion, then smack them really hard with the left mouse button attack.

I can hardly ever get him to do that, but then I think I kill them before they get chance to get up again.

Haha, the patch will come with the US release. This again proves Europe was used as a guinee pig. It's just shameful. I hope they fuck up in the USA. The fucks got my €50 and I have to wait a month to fully enjoy it. I usually never bash a game, but I'm happy to make an exception for this game.
And the arrogance of that guy in the interview. He talks like there's nothing wrong. Did they even play the game?

Just do what i did , return the game ask for an exchange with something else... and download gothic 3 at home... If the fuckers want to play with the customers then the customer should have a right to fuck with them.

Shite game. Collision detection is utter crap. Can't believe I downloaded this again after I didn't even join the first 2. Graphics are good, but that's it!

game needs some fps boost,.. thats it,.. bugs dont bother me that much,(I had to format the pc becouse one really hardcore crach,bastards) next time ill cheat abit,.. couse i have no savefile,.. and wouldnt like to go to level 34 from beginning,.

how do i know where i am on the map? how i can go to a city when i dont know where i am going? :\
in oblivion its been mutch more easy..and in oblivion its allso show u where 2 go in a quest lol.. so any1 can explain me this game a little? map and quests ..
