i saw departed... about 2 freakin years ago. said it before, and ill say it about, saying "scorscese's" departed is a great film, is like saying timmys science fair project was brilliant, when his dad did it all for him...

Feast - 6.5 - The unusual storytelling and non-cliche kill order and of course the gore makes this a funny little movie with alot of blood.
Employee of The Month - 7.0 - This film surprised me alot, Matt Dillon is great (as always) and the linear story gets fucked up completely.

then he missed the point of my post. scorsese's basically taking credit for lau and mak's work, his only 'improvement' is bringing it to america, and having the characters say fuck a lot..

Feast 9/10
I rally enjoyed this funny horror movie.
Many funny parts in the movie, they got killed and still laugh about it.
Recommended for horror fans only.

I got your point m8. I take it you've seen the original version then. Kinda like when ppl were saying Heat was good when that was a remake of L.A.Takedown but with big name actors.
Either way, I went to the cinema without knowing anything of the film. I liked it. A lot! Personally I couldn't care less who directed it or what the original was like. The Departed was a very good film, imo.

personally i have nothing against remakes... true lies was a remake and camerons version was easily superior in every way (and a damn good film to boot), but in this case, i think many people are doing themselves a disservices... please give the original a shot. try and track it down and watch it, it absolutely brilliant.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe 5/10 C- a pretty standard afair
some nice visual effects especially those used for Aslan the Lion. The acting of the children
was pretty bad there was no emotional connection between the characters.
Watch the 1988 BBC Adaptation which is much better.

Sedolf the Jap original of Dark water is way better then that hollywood crap (they fuck up the hole story) the same was with the Ring 1 and 2 the jap version is more scarier , the same with the Jap original of The Grunge 1/2 (the eng version sucks big time)
