yee...i was waiting for this game for quite some time. finally its out.
and i hope that it doest equipped with sf3 and\or dvd version only.

Silent Hill 4 ships
Konami's chilling sequel will haunt PCs, Xboxes, and PlayStation 2's nationwide soon.
Weeks after it debuted at the top of the Japanese charts, Silent Hill 4: The Room is poised to scare American gamers senseless. Konami announced this morning that the game has shipped for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2. Rated "M" for Mature, the self-developed sequel retails for $39.99; the PC version will ship on a DVD-ROM.
Like its predecessors, Silent Hill 4 puts its emphasis on spooky atmosphere. The game follows an all-new protagonist, Henry Townshend, as he awakes to find his apartment sealed by otherworldly forces. To escape, he must venture through an interdimensional portal. On the other side, though, await a series of undead beasts and evil specters, whom he must defeat while unlocking the secrets to open his apartment. The game itself will shift from first- to third-person view, depending on the situation.

I'm looking at my Game Informer now and it got an 8.5. IGN gave the xbox version a 8.0. Official Playstation Magazine gave it I think either a 4 or a 4.5 out of 5. PSM gave it an 8 out of 10. So what was that about it sucking?

I just hated the Xbox version, it just just feels awefull as all this serie... I don't like the way characters move and fights, no free look is a pain too, we're in 2004 dammit!!!! They introduced some kind of freelook but only in very close space like the appartment in the begining...

Actually I said 8.0 for IGN. Game Informer gave it an 8.5. I don't really care what people say. I love the SH games. Thought that all 3 were good. First one is the best and probably my favorite survival horror game. The second one was decent and the third one was good.
