Sure, I have the money to buy a DVD reading device, and the skills to install it, but I don't want one in any of my machines. I build all of my PCs.
If you like having them, enjoy. I don't. No need to get on folks' case with your ranting/bitching.
I already have an 8cd game (Black Dahlia), so 12 means nothing to me. heh

erm... 12 is bigger than 8 so what does it matter?
also why dont u wanna d/l 50mb parts? it goes faster if u count up the milliseconds lost when verifying and 3 DVds for myst. ummm never been a fan of this game seemed way too boring. it must be a loada hih res movies on one DVd (still a lot) and then the game on another. idk i couldnt bare to play a myst game for more than 5 hours.

Each to thier own - but i don't see why anyone woudln't want a DVD recorder these days.
They're dirt cheap and very handy for storing games/movies/music.

Ditto....I mount all games I downloaded. If I truly enjoyed it and there is VERY good multi, then I buy it (as we all know, not every game can be online playable cracked) but as for replayabilty, if it's linear (as most are) once is usually enough.
One good example of a burnable, replayable and onlineable-with crack is FarCry, you can play each level so many different ways.
