does it always work for you if you start the game? doesnt it freeze when the G3 logo shows up?

 its a figure of speech , when your enemy is on the ground and has no energy , select him by pressing and holding the RightMouseButton and then Press and hold the LeftMouseButton and move your mouse down - the your hero should finaly kill him by stabbing him with the sword |

Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it takes me 4-5tries until it works.....that's a bullshit solution but it works ^^

Learn how to use swords/axes from trainers such as the one in the rebel camp and then just visit stores and buy what you need. (Weapons from fallen enemies tend to be worn and only do about half their normal damage)
It's very weirdly priced though.
(Bastard sword 90 DMG - 14500 gold / Flaming sword 100 DMG - 800 gold)
Not to mention orcish weapons.
(Krush bla bla 250 dmg - 290 gold, though you only find them by killing orcs)

Maybe it has already said here but i can't find it anymore. When i install the english version can i play it when i have the German Ston3d version mounted in VC8?
Has anyone get this to work:
1) load save game.
2) then start new game?

I have installed the ENG version, from a .nrg image, I use the Ger Ston3d release to run game. Game just locked when I tried new game though, the save is at the start so Im happy with that for now.

(The first patch that is, no idea what it fixes but atleast it does something)

That's just Boake or hes alter ego being a total prat. He will never grow out of it as he is only 10 or so. Bare with him, you have to do that with kids you know, and where I come from slapping kids is not allowed, its in the law

You said that the safe was about 3-5 seconds from the beginning. Can you short tell me what the intro movie tells and what the first 5 seconds ingame is (did you have to give in some character settings or something?)

The above RAD Video Tools will allow you to watch all the .BIK movies and as you can probably guess you can now watch the G3_Intro.Bik in the /Data/Video/ folder.
You could also delete the logo 1-5 bik files to remove those from the start and if you want you could rename the intro video to G3_Logo_01.bik to see it during the game startup. (That way you don't need to install the RAD tools)

Naaaa, I am really slowly giving up on this game. Memory crashes, loading freezes and in game general unoptimized lag. I really "WANT" this game to be good and all, but it just ain't at the moment. I will regretfully throw in the towel and just wait for either a real FAT PATCH! or simply forget it and dig in to another game, preferably SCDA or MTW II.

Dude, Oblivion was like this too in the beginning. The best updates came from addons until Bethesda started patching stuff.

Well there we go then....but I cant remember Oblivion being this bad...sorry, but it wasn't. Wont go in to a yes it was no it wasn't situation here. But for my part i just feel its a waste of time at the moment, I never intended to compare the 2 games as such. Simply stating that G3 is not really enjoyable as it stands NOW! I really hope the devs get their act together and spit out a great fat patch sooner then later. Its a trend lately...out with the game finished or not, let the community point out the glitches and lets fix it later...not a good strategy IMO. But there we have it.

Anyone know how to give tag-alongs weapons and stuff? Clicking on them only lets you tell them to stay or follow or give them a potion.
