Just read that, thats just crap.
I bet its just so people will buy it at release day, having already spent their money before realizing how crappy it is, money they could have saved if they had a demo to try.
Meh, i hope it will be good, but you never know with EA.......

Just read the first page, so ive probably missed lots of stuff, but anyway..
The perfect NFS game would have day and night racing, big open landscapes and cities, the old hot rod engine tuning thingy (Anyone remember the old games Hot Rod and Hot Rod 2?), new shiny cars and old rusty cars etc.
Sure, the styling stuff can be there, but the old stuff is important to! Perfect combo would be: NFS4+NFS5+NFSU2+Gearhead Garage+Hot Rod 2
That would be unbeatable!
(I kinda like the styling and sound stuff in NFSU2, since I like doing stuff like that with my car, not quite as expensive stuff tho..)

TDU started as a great on-line concept, but after watching all about this "great" online mode on Gamespot and reading on forums, I'm not that excited anymore. You're only limited to 7 more players to show up in your area, and from what people say, even that is quite laggy.

Yes, you are limited to 7 players in the area around you, but there are many more players driving around the island, and it isn't laggy at all. It is great fun, because it ain't just a pure online racer with only players, the AI is still driving around, which makes the world a lot more believable and cool. |

Since I'm not an über-NFS fan, I'm not sure if this is indeed the complete list or not. I copied it from a website that claimed it is, but I take no guarantees.
