i got english version on my disck but so what , i cant run it lol

Mounted the image in Virtual CD v8 (newest version), and the Gothic 3 logo pops up when i try to start it.. and after a few seconds, i get the message that I have to put the disc in the drive etc..
someone know what to do ?

Yes,
1. mount it with another Virtual drive, try it again. ( I change between virtual Burner Drive and my first physical drive)
2. if it wan't work, mount it with the other drive...
If this wan't work - change between the virtual drive and the physical drive ...
after a few mounts it will start!
But u need to load a savegame at the first start (i post the link some post before)
After the load, u can press ESCAPE and press New Game....
When u try to start a new game before loading the savegame, the game will freeze...

I dont mind retrying,.. but the problem is that when i dont get (DVD not blablabla error)
IT freezes (hangs) with gothic3 word,.. most of the time,.. Then i have to restart,.. and try the process again ,.. till it gets into the game,. it freezes so many times that ive been into the strart menue only 4 times,.. probably had a computer hang atleast 12 times,..
Im not using the STONED release,yet.. but another german image,.. but i fear it will not change much

Mine hardlocked aswell many times, but using the method I just mentioned, it hasn't happend anymore. Only when I load from the physical without having previously tried on the virtual - it's weird, but it works.

hmmi tried to put my vc to virtual drive and then i put this image to my psyhical drive and nothing happend, check fail like always

You tried to load it on the virtual before switching to the physical, right?
@rekof, glad to see it worked for you
:edit: Also, the game seems touchy about whether or not you launch it via the autorun menu or desktop icon. So try this.
1) Mount on virtual drive, wait for autorun popup. Click play. Let check fail
2) Remount on physical drive, wait for autorun. Click play. And it should work.

Update check - checks for update. It doesn't install it automaticly.
BTW, G3 works even after 1-st update...
And plz, can you upload your strings.pak somewhere?
P.S. But I can't start new game. When I click it - nothing happens

When i mount the VC6 image in one of the VCD8's drives autorun doesn't start...
And VCD creates only physical drives... how do i create a virtual drive ?

No more links to gamefiles like the language.pak and such. These belong to the game itself and spreading them is illegal.
Posts regarding this will be removed. In serious cases a temp.ban will follow.
