The Mooney is the fastest propeller aircraft, well besides from the Extra, which is twitchy as hell to fly Very Happy
Otherwise my favorite for fast trips is the Bombardier Learjet, without a doubt the most nimble and fast jet in the game Smile
I dunno, try asia, lots of mountains and wierd enviroments there Very Happy

yeah i tried some made for fs9, most didnt have any sounds at all and were pretty buggy.
But one of them were the SR-71, and omg. Straight up in the sky at mach 2 or something like that, reached 140000 feet then i stalled Sad
I'm pretty amazed at how good FSX still looks at that kinda altitude Very Happy

I hope someone makes a Eurofighter or a normal F22 or something specifically for FSX soon Smile

I'm having problems with the release, both repack and original. Some dumb idiot decided to split and archive using an idiotic method and all I get is files with .001 .002 etc. extensions. I join them with HJsplit, and in the end I get a file without an extension (rzr-fsxr). Winrar does not unrar since it needs rzr-fsxr.r00. Damn frustrating... I think i'll never be able to play it.

.001 etc is the same as .r01, just a different extension. Open the .001 file in winrar and extract like normal Wink

I got a question, why does every airplane, even a huge boeing, and especially the helicopters, always always sort of "drag" torwards the left?? I turn off all the winds and try to turn down one realism setting at a time like Torque etc, but they STILL constantly drag to the left, so at the runway either when langind or taking off i need to twist my stick to keep it going straight, and its a damn narrow balance act so it doesnt run straight off the runway and do a 180 and flip over, even jet aircraft i might add! So it cant be propeller assymetrical Torque. Sad

WHY is it like that? Crying or Very sad
What is teh realism setting that causes that? Cuz ive tried to turn em down one by one, no help Sad

I've got the same problem since fs2000. I once suspected my sidewinder ff2, but i tried other sticks, no difference. I'm sure it's one annoying realism feature

Turned off P-Torque, fixed it for the propeller aircraft, at least some of them, but with the learjet its still the same, soo sick of that!
If i turn off ALL realism sliders it seems to be fixed, but ugh, i want realism too :/

Using Rudder Pedals on Takeoff

If you're using rudder pedals and don't have the Autorudder feature active, then you should expect the airplane to yaw to the left when you add power. This happens for several reasons. Things like the propeller slipstream and engine torque all contrive to make this airplane turn left during takeoff. Just add enough right rudder to keep the airplane aligned with the runway. Of course, if you don't have rudder pedals, don't worry about the airplane tending to turn left on takeoff. Flight Simulator's Autorudder feature will prevent these forces from affecting you.

Nice answer, but jets dont suffer from prop torque, precession or P-Factor. It may be your joystick needs calibrating.

Apparently you can edit the individual plane files to show visible damage but on default mode it's just CREEEEEAAAAK and a big PAUSE before you get to restart.

Ispep how do you do that? Just a simple thing like "damage=1"?

Nice answer indeed, but jets shouldnt suffer from prop torque, since there are no props..
And its not my joystick that needs calibrating Wink
The autorudder thing fixed it tough Smile

Goto the homepage in the game itself and it's one of the links on the right; tips and tweaks or something like that. Scroll down and you'll find it listed. It's something like you say but thats not the command 'exactly'.
