I'm having problems with the release, both repack and original. Some dumb idiot decided to split and archive using an idiotic method and all I get is files with .001 .002 etc. extensions. I join them with HJsplit, and in the end I get a file without an extension (rzr-fsxr). Winrar does not unrar since it needs rzr-fsxr.r00. Damn frustrating... I think i'll never be able to play it.

I've got the same problem since fs2000. I once suspected my sidewinder ff2, but i tried other sticks, no difference. I'm sure it's one annoying realism feature

Turned off P-Torque, fixed it for the propeller aircraft, at least some of them, but with the learjet its still the same, soo sick of that!
If i turn off ALL realism sliders it seems to be fixed, but ugh, i want realism too :/

I turn off all the winds and try to turn down one realism setting at a time like Torque etc, but they STILL constantly drag to the left, so at the runway either when langind or taking off i need to twist my stick to keep it going straight, and its a damn narrow balance act so it doesnt run straight off the runway and do a 180 and flip over, even jet aircraft i might add! So it cant be propeller assymetrical Torque.
WHY is it like that?
What is teh realism setting that causes that? Cuz ive tried to turn em down one by one, no help |
same :\

Using Rudder Pedals on Takeoff
If you're using rudder pedals and don't have the Autorudder feature active, then you should expect the airplane to yaw to the left when you add power. This happens for several reasons. Things like the propeller slipstream and engine torque all contrive to make this airplane turn left during takeoff. Just add enough right rudder to keep the airplane aligned with the runway. Of course, if you don't have rudder pedals, don't worry about the airplane tending to turn left on takeoff. Flight Simulator's Autorudder feature will prevent these forces from affecting you.

Nice answer, but jets dont suffer from prop torque, precession or P-Factor. It may be your joystick needs calibrating.

Apparently you can edit the individual plane files to show visible damage but on default mode it's just CREEEEEAAAAK and a big PAUSE before you get to restart.

Goto the homepage in the game itself and it's one of the links on the right; tips and tweaks or something like that. Scroll down and you'll find it listed. It's something like you say but thats not the command 'exactly'.
