simple really this is an OCTOBER update...thats a thread about the NOVEMBER dashupdate. And just because it isnt a dash update doesnt mean squat they can easily make the update part of the live roll out to add extra authentication to the dvd startup. ore november would be optimum tie to do this and its much safer than doing a dash based checksum routine since it can produce a false positive and there's like 10 different firmwares to checksum it would be a headache for microsoft.
I guess some people just don't get it - There's no way, and i mean NO WAY that the piracy would end. even if MicroShit would try banning this or that, it's a matter of time until a new way of counter-ban would come out. ( wow, that's a lot of Woulds ).
Anyway, me, I would never buy every single game. I try them first, and if I like it, I buy it. since in my country I can't rent games, FW hack is my only option. And if M$ will ban me, that's fine, I'll buy a new x360 and wait for a new hack.
