Ofcourse, just zoom in on your character untill you switch to first person and then press space to ready your weapon and just click away on the oponent. (Mouse1 fast attack, mouse 2 power attack - mouse 1 and 2 stab attack)
Just learned advanced swordfighting so now my character swings the sword like some 16th century nobleman waving the blade around like a idiot. (As you can see on the skill screenshots I learned alot, easy to find trainers and shrines)

Yeah I know, I only need raw steel to make a claymore so I don't know what they make broadswords of.
Also found receipts for ruby sword and longsword in the first village but bought that flaming sword instead.
Longsword was worth 2500 gold and did 85 damage when sharpened and flamesword does 100 damage for 1000 gold.
Receipts costed 4000 (Ruby) and 2000 (Longsword) each.

Spoiler: |
Noticed a blood trail near a outpost that had problem with goblins, saw a goblin and thought it would be a goblin cave so I expected a easy fight.
Killed the goblin outside and entered the cave only to discover about 50 meatbugs and a whole lot of blood and bodies.
Laughing at the people who got killed by goblins I decided to enter and as you see in this screenshot the cave had gotten very dark by now.
Continuing on since my sword functioned like a torch I suddenly heard a growl and about a second later two more growls, turned out the cave was a shadowbeast lair and I died very very quick.
Had it been a troll or even a black troll I could probably have gotten away but those shadow things are just too fast.
Heh, guess i'll avoid blood filled caves from now on.
|
Probably better that way.
EDIT: What the?
Cool effect though.

I'm unsure if FPS improved but the game seems to run smoother now with less stuttering and lag. (Most likely they did optimise the game some more after the gold retail)
Doesn't hurt to install it though, probably fixes all sorts of things.
(The patch updates the 1.04 version to 1.07.25755 and it's 60MB)
