Less than one year after the Xbox 360's release date, a fully functional mod chip is available.

The Xbox 360: hacked

We can confirm that the mod chip works as advertised, allowing the player to copy authentic, retail Xbox 360 games to DVD and play them on their Xbox 360s.

What's more, the mod chip currently allows players to access Xbox Live gameplay using a burned, pirated game disc.

The method for copying games is not easy, requiring the hacker to use a very specific model of DVD burners as well as a tricky hot-swap process. But on the whole, the copying process seems to yield consistent results.

No word yet from Microsoft, though the company is known for taking an aggressive stance against piracy.

That just sounds like a FW based mod , nothing more. Doesnt mention anything about running unsigned code

yeah, what the hell, they are probably talking about the Fractal360 which is basically the same as the NME. as long as we can't run unsigned code there is no real modchip!
it seems gametrailers.com is just as slow as some people here

Hold on im a total newbie here can i copy xbox 360 games using the hotswap tech using a dual layer driver and then play them on a modded xbox 360 using say for instance the globe 360 modchip or are all of the vids ive seen lieing to me?????
