Ok, I was driving some people from a big lanparty to a private (alcohol)party. I didn't have to many people in the car or anything like that, but when come to get them i just had to pee so badly, and it was raining like insane yesterday (well, also today :/ ) Anyway, the thing is; i was just opening my car door standing outside peeing, then i saw the police in the roundabout about 50-150 meters away, i was 100% sure they have seen what I did, so I was really scared at that time. When they came to the car i just tried to act cool, and just smiled at them, and he asked if there was a problem - thoughts was running trough my head and I answered: "yeah, i had to pull over because i had to talk in the cellphone." Complete lie. The guy thought that was really good (its not legal to drive and talk in the cellphone here, ticket - 500NOK) Licence and registration was also OK, so then they drove off. *puh*

pretty unlucky to the see the cops in that roundabout, and the road I was on is one of the few roads I dare to have some insane speeds. (looks like how crash think whole Norway is)

Anyway, i was pretty sure he saw me, because it was a lamp post just under my car, and he wasn't slow with driving towards me when they saw me (they hate me just cuz im black Sad )

That was quick thinking and pretty smooth.

Not me. I got pulled over about 3 days ago. He stopped the car in front of me, car left. I drove right by the cop. Really really slow . I didn't see any hand signals to stop so I kept going. I pass him and I am like 4 meters past him and he goes "Woaa you" So I stop. He has to walk over to me. Not good. He starts asking me why I am there. I said I am going to the gym. He said that is a long way from here. I said no it isn't, it is right over there. My girlfriend lives right beside where we were. so I tell him that. He is still going on about how I am outta my way... blah blah blah. And then my girlfriends tells me to stop arguing with him. Then he offered us a job, doing what? who the hell knows? I have no idea if he was serious. It was weird.

Wtf! Tell him to mind his own buisness. What a bloody cheek asking where you're going. If the police asked why I was on the road I would have said, "car, road, cars go on roads".

Some cops are just complete assholes. Most of the patrols here have 2 persons in the car, one nice guy and one asshole. The one i talked with was really nice Wink

And btw in Norway you get 2000NOK ticket for having a passenger on a scooter :\
Friend had to pay that because of me Surprised

I was 17 at that time. He was like; don't you think safety etc.. .bla bla bla, fucking bullshit i used helmet ffs, and i started arguing with him, and he wanted to talk to my parents because I was 17 then, but the other guy didn't want to bother them because it was 3am...

I think it is completely normal for police to ask you why you are in a certain area or where you are going. And I was on a slight detour to check out the tent homeless city. They took it all down. It is right in Wally. It is crack head central with hookers everywhere, all wiggin out.

He wasn't an asshole, he was just enjoying giving 2 decent women a hard time I think.

It was funny tho, driving right by him. I was evading an officer in very slow motion.

@jenni

One nice guy and one asshole is a ploy. It is called good cop/bad cop. You see it on Law & order all the time. Sooo you spill your guts to the nice cop, you think he is going to help you or something.

dude, its not like you'd go to jail for pissing on the side of the road...at the most you'd get a very small fine and have your time wasted.

I dont understand why people are so afraid of police when they dont have anything like a weapon or drugs on them. If he asks what you were doing, you say the truth - i was taking a piss because i couldnt hold it any longer....nothing would have happened

Police ask these questions hoping you'll drop youreself in it.

A freind was stopped and searched they found little plastic bags the kind that drugs might be sold in. The copper asked what their for and he said what do you think their for?. Copper asked the same question over and over got the same reply and eventually gave up.

I can understand why people are scared of the police. One of my GFs wasnt doing anything wrong, But talked like a smart ass back to the cop (Like Jennis post) and he held us up for like an hour. Sure she didnt get a ticket or anything like that; but fuck it was a waste of time.

And depending on the situation, the police officers has ever right in the world to question you, if your pulled over on the side of the road. Maybe he is checking that everything is allright, noone is hurt, pregnant, car broke down etc. Or maybe someone commited a crime in the area, you never know. And talking back to them, Ie "You have the nerve to question me?" just shows stupidity, or that you think the world only involves you. And depending on the cops day, mood, aditude. he may hold you up, looking for those finer details you may hove overlooked. Cops are just humans like the rest of us, they just have to deal with more BS, more rude people, more sick shit; than the rest of us.

when i was with the cops (you wont get the reason) to write a report they did the good and bad thing. it didnt work and the one playing the good one left and someone else came who became the bad one and the bad one started to become the good one. still i said nothing more because of this.
I was however constantly scratching the side of my thumb with my index finger, so much that i removed the skin and made a huge blatter.
I learned alot by that and hate cops even more then i already did

Not being scared and talking back are to separate things. I never said run your mouth you know? Thats stupid. Im polite as fuck to cops. If they are older, its yes sir and no. I keep my answer's short and sweet.

But im not afraid of them. And they done alot of damage to me. Toronto cops are fuckin sleazy ass fassy bwoys (no offence Max...your a nice guy, but alot of metro cops are assholes). Sure you have to take their shit. But as long as your polite and not doing anything wrong, there's no reason to be afraid of anything.

Still, if i get fucked with for no reason then i'll become a smart ass.

You know what I read in the Star the other day?

That 83% of Metro cops are really 905ers (for the rest of you, that means they live in the suburbs). I mean shit, shouldn't at least most of the cops actually live in the fucking city they police? No wonder they're so out of touch
