To the dude with long ass loading times I have like 395 ram or somthing like that I know its a little less than 400 and my game loads up in seconds, runs smooth as glass too. I got a x1900. My computer is pretty old but runs flawless still like most games regardless of my low amount of ram. I also have it maxed out with 6x aa and 16f af running at 180X1024

i got some fps problems here and there, running it 1024x768, everything maxed but no aa/af
amd athlon 3700+ 2.4ghz
1gb ram
6800gt 256mb
maybe needs a patch?

Utter shit game.
Bad points:
The physics pure suck.
No straff, it turns (wtf).
Driving is a joke.
Nothing else to do but missions.
Auto aim shooting.
Terrible gfx.
Good points:
Soundtrack.
you get munched by sharks.
I don't need to buy it now.
Very disappointing game. Shame too, it could have been good. Not a patch on Vice City.

Nothing else to do but missions. ------wtf, did you even start up the game, there is a shit load of what you can do. Fight for turf and kill other gangs, launder money, sell coke, buy property. And I did all of it in one day, theres probably shit load more to do.
Auto aim shooting. ------well you dont have to do if you dont want to. Even more you are rewarder for not using autoaim by recieving more balls. (damn that 1st person shooting is fun)
Terrible gfx. ------not the best, but certanly not worst. Its all about gameplay

Ofcourse its IMO, I give it 8/10, its fun. GTA>Scarface>just cause, all other coppies.

The ign's review is spot on, it listed exactly what i found fun, and the things i desliked. (like that stupid police, where there are no ways to get away from it, you just accept you defeat. Not Tony Montana like).

Just a bad port of a good game... Can't imagine how those idiot developers managed to create so many bugs with a 5 y/o engine. Just a poor port...

thats for left handed mouse. i think it just switchs the mouse buttons over or some crap i checked and it was still on wasd after changing it so just changed it right back

Hmm indeed. Im still trying to figure out how to config my joystick. Whnever i exit the config, the keys keep changing by themselves. It wouldnt be that bad, but the reverse key becomes my forward key, and the forward key stays the same. ( LIke i try to bind reverse 1, and forward 0, but when i exit, reverse stays 1, and forward becomes 1 too) So whenver i try to accelerate, its just moving alittle bit.

Yes i have the same problem, scarface.exe crashes after screen flashes black. iv'e read on forums that they are saying it's a software problem, not everyone has the problem..
i am using 7800gs with latest drivers, they say patch maybe out in couple of days!!
But i am using reloaded version, so i guess we have to wait for new crack aswell

yup, crack is working fine, but I couldnt play it for too long, since the game is terrible: bad graphics, bad fps, bad handling (of car and character), no freedom, "one-way system" (if you wanna go somewhere - you just go straight - you end up the same place everytime) - city was probably built by retard.
giving this game 60 percent is just outrageous, it deserves 10 percent, it was the worst game Ive played in years.
