Actually its quite normal to question why a 4 GB game looks like 3 year old graphics. The big space taker in games is often textures and other graphical info. You can pack a lot of "gameplay" into a small size. Take your own advice.

One hands on I found raves about it...

We have to admit, playing the videogame version of Mage Knight - a deeply storied and popular tabletop game from WizKids - without having ever touched one of the collectable miniatures made us feel a bit like poseurs. But the action role-playing Mage Knight: Apocalypse was so instantly addictive that we soon simply felt like heroes.

Mage Knight immediately stands apart from its towering peers because of its stunning good looks and versatile controls. With a flick of the mouse wheel, we zoomed from the top-down isometric view (think classic RPG Neverwinter Nights) into an over-the shoulder view that was more like Knights of the Old Republic. The zoom levels in-between should find Diablo and Dungeon Siege players right at home, as well. This kind of versatility kicked ass because the close third-person view gave us a distant look at the horizon that let us easily scout ahead for enemies, while the top-down vista allowed management of big spells and an overall view of our party.

uh no it wasmt worth a try. its common sense that an original exe crack wont work after the exe has been updated.

That's the point. "Big stories" don't usually take a lot of space. Especially in 3D games where many textures are reused (other than unique locations, items and characters).
4 GB of story is something that should take you in the neighbourhood of 1+ years to explore in entirety with exhaustive exploration. Somehow I'm betting that is not the case here.

For everyone high res texture of a character you could pack in several areas worth of story. Do you get how that adds up? This game is either ridiculously massive, or they've stored every texture and graphical item in some massive raw file format, because its not spent on high quality graphics.

eh... or download the reloaded version and just skip the crack, not that its a point, unless its easier to get it at the 2rents atm.

damn i waited so much time for this title and now it's unplayable. Aside from that, on the official forums there are numerous bug complains even after the patch Sad The whole thing reminds me of the titan quest story.. Why these days no one makes proper beta testing anymore..i got the RLD version which must be nuked anyway, guss gotta search for a clone version disc..... I've a feeling that lately the RLD boys are getting sloppy, more and more of theirs cracks need a proper fix when they came up Sad

edit: well, yep blame all of them Smile the RLD- for rushing with a non-working crack
and the devs- for the bugs mentioned in the forums Smile. Ordinary i'm not bitchin' but i've waited quite a time and wanted to have a nice working bug-clean game Rolling Eyes

Still poxy cd's though Sad how very odd that games are still released on multiple cds.. and not dvds..

Multiple cds must be more expensive to produce?

Come on own up! who here still only has a cdrom and not a dvd in thier machine Smile
