Hello site managers.
All your *hdtv* rips are no longer in HD . Why do you write HDTV then?
It is considered SD even if it was ripped from HD.

I have no idea why you keep posting nfos like they are HD when they are not.

I really would like to start seeing true HD content around.

HDTV is the source and true HD(720p) is already around, just not at your sources

Its wrong to write in the nfo that it is **hdtv** release.
When I see hdtv in the release name I am thinking this is HD format release.
There a few HD releases but none in this site.
I'm not sure why they are more rare. Well maybe the USA scene is weak and in Europe there isn't much demend for HD.

theres plenty of 720p shows. and since hdtv is the source then its not wrong to write it....
just because you're confused doesnt mean the rules need to be changed.

What will you write when you release a true HD content?
Its not just me who got confused, many people tells me they see *hdtv* release and think it is true HD. I am no longer confused Smile but I still think you need to change the rules. You should write *hdrip* like dvdrip or something like that. When you release true dvd, you write dvd-r or something, then why not doing the same for HD RIPS????

Here, in Israel, we don't have HD shows yet. People here didn't see HD in their life so they got confused and thing they are watch HD Wink
We see HD just when we visit the states. Its amazing and I think its time the big groups will start taking it serious and publish HD content to the web.

Am I so wrong? Am I the only one thinking about it?

PS: I still think you should change the releases name to different one: HDRIP will be more appropriate.

what syn said, and theres no need to change rules since you have 720p, 1080i and x264 releases.
