From Gamershell:

*Update* It was brought to our attention that Acclaim Germany uploaded the demo in error. The final demo is still in testing and will be released in the weeks to come.

hows the damage model? is there any? I hated NFS underground for its undestructable cars.

if theres any damage model.. can anyone supply some pics?

Yes, I agree, I dislike games with no damage models. So lame, and ruins the entire atmosphere, imo.

Thanks for the link Dirtpaw, just finished trying the demo and while it's not very polished and the provided track was immensely boring (not to mention very restricting in this day an age... curbs as boundries lol!)

I was quite impressed, the handling is real nice considering, and a believable damage model and okay graphics...

I got some weird shimmering effect on the night level with rain enabled, but other than that it ran fine. Anyone having problems exiting the demo should just hit ALT & F4, that does the trick.

One to look for I think, although it will need some polish, and maybe it's a sequel that will do the base justice - but I like this style more than the NFS:U and Midnight Club. Fun though they were it was very arcadey, this is a better balance I think.

Just tried the game, and imho it sucked big time, unless you really really love linear arcade titles. like ispep said, curbs as boundries. now thats lol.
with the standard gfx settings the textures kind of reminded me XIII...
altho it looked pretty when turning everything to max, lag-free with my geforce fx 5600 too.

With alot of changes wich is prolly not going to happen, the game could be worth the bandwidth needed to d/l it... but it's DEFINATELY not anything i would pay a dime for. You might as well skip the demo and wait for NFSU 2 Smile
