whats the point??? isnt the whole point of sandals to let your feet get air???

In BC we wear our sandles year round but sometimes your feet get cold. Sometimes people wear them with funky poler fleese socks and not the wool. When it rains the socks come off.
For the record I got my crocks before everyone else.

OK but just so everyone knows here (Not that I really care) I do own some beautiful strapy open toed shoes. ...and boots but they are not strapy.

OHHH yes toe socks. Yes I have them. I like the feel of the cloth between my toes. It is like they have their own private compartments. You wouldn't like toe socks if you were drunk. YOu couldn't put them on.
Have you ever tried to put socks on when you were drunk. I did, in the bathroom. I ending up falling into the tub and not being able to get out. I get totally trapped. If I am ever drunk don't let me anywhere near a bathtub. jackie-danger-zone.

I can tie my shoes when I'm drunk I usually sit down when I put on socks or something. Even when sober I can tip over trying to balance my self on one foot while putting on things.

Well it wasn't a violent bathtub incident. You kinda titter there on the ledge and then you lean back a little to far and WHOOOOSH You are trapped in the bathtub with you feet hanging over the edge. You can try and try but you can't excepe the bathtub void. It was like I had earth magnets holding me down.

They are very popular here in Sweden to, I think it was Peter Forsberg (the hockey player) who started the Crock Invasion.
I hate CROCKS!!!! And they cost a fortune.

I a hot dry country it was be a stupid thing to do. Your feet would get filthy, PLUS you would have a SOCK TAN.
Here it is a sign of being atuned to nature when socks are worn with sandles in the middle of winter. As long as they are sport sandles, not some dressy pair.

No they do not cost a forture. Mine were $35 Canadian. Holy soles (another brand name) makes them too. I found the warehouse in Vancouver. You can buy those ones for $11. Holy soles sell for $30.
