I was WAY over the clouds with a little plane, then I just jumped out of the plane and freefalled through the clouds, catched my plane somewhere in the air and jumped in again. Just like in a action movie... hehe, cool game.

Can somebody tell me where could I find a underwater scooter or a ... ugh, how is it called again .. (picture) ?

I actually didn't mean jet skis by underwater scooter but DPVs, which I've seen on some screenshots. Such little devices that drag you along underwater when you hold on to it. Know what I mean? I don't remember where I saw a screen of it but I'm sure I saw it. (picture)

And I also found jet skis after driving away from the starting island.

Just mount it and chop the dvd into two dvds Smile if you dont wanna put too much energy into it - just compress the iso into 2 files and put on two dvds (unless you wanna be able to install directly from the dvds..in that case do what they suggested further back).

You sure it doesnt work on your dvd? Is that an old model or something?

yes it does but it has one probelm:

"This is the strangest transfer rate graph I've ever seen. Typically, for double layer read speed, this graph would look more like a pyramid. It appears that the DUW1608/ARR drops to about 1.5X just after crossing into the second layer. Obviously this is not one of the better transfer rate performance with double layer media. The peak speed of 8.79X is good but because of the drop on the layer change overall performance is degraded. Also, CPU usage was at 91% at only 4X. Seek times are almost double that of other drives. The one bright spot here was the burst rate was as good as the single layer."

teh data4.cab file i have probelm with is probely on that othe layer.

the demo worked just fine for me in vista, i dont see why the full version wouldnt.

and to the guy posting and whining about how the xbox360 version is so awesome and the pc version sucks... um where did you get that video? did you make it just to hype the xbox360? cuz um in the demo i played there was realtime shadows and lighting cast on everything unlike in your little video clip where all the post processing seems to be disabled.

Sorry pal, but read my post. I was obviously not whining. When I say "I don't own a 360. I shouldn't have to. I own a PC." It's pretty obvious that I'm not trying to hype the 360. The video is a comparison of parts in the demo. The 360 version was filmed with a camera in front of a tv and the PC version is with all the settings (which isn't much) cranked up all the way. No tricks. I don't know why people try to defend it like "Well, on MY PC it looks way better." I"m sorry. No it doesn't. The only difference might be frame rate. On the PC version there are realtime shadows....but only on things like characters and vehicles. And the quality of them is way way less than on 360. I don't know how many times I have to say this, but I'm not here to convert people to the 360 version. But just in my defense, here you go. Straight from the Avalanche site here are the 360 "unique features".

* Per-Pixel Motion Blur.
* High Dynamic Range (HDR).
* Depth-of-Field.
* Soft Shadows.
* Dynamic dirt maps on vehicles.
* Bending vegetation.
* Enhanced terrain and vegetation system.
* Enhanced particle effects.
* Cloud shadows.
* Enhanced wildlife.

The PC version is also stuck with lower quality models and textures. So yeah. Again, the video made is not a fake. Nobody "disabled the post effects.". Exactly what post effects? Have you even looked at the settings tab? There's the fake little motion blur I guess. But no. I didn't disable it. Read my other posts and rethink what you've said.

i was just saying, in your video the video you posted even though it may not be yours it shows on the 360 the guy walking around nd theres shadows on him when hes under the trees, but on the pc side theres no shadows on the guy when i know on the pc theres realtime shadows, also theres other features that i KNOW are on the pc and they are absent in the video on the pc side of the screen. so whoever made the video was lying about all the effects being on for the pc. the 360 side looks pretty and all but im sure the pc version looks close, and not all shitty like depicted in the video. i also noticed there wasnt a single pedestrian on the 360 side of the video the whole time yet thee were dozens on the pc side. whatever im sick so im going back to sleep.

If developers would just take the time to make real pc versions of the games, instead of doing cheap half-ass knockoffs of console versions, we wouldn't have the problem of lousy gfx. But like that's ever gonna happen. Maybe they make more money on console games or some shit.

the gfx arent lousy in the least.....you just have a better version to compare it to, if there was no 360 version there would be none of this bitching and moaning. PLUS its obviously easier to make a game for 1 specific console and have it push it to the max, as opposed to a game for PC where there are MILLIONS of possible configurations. and people would bitch and moan that it doesnt run good enough on thier systems blah blah blah. like that King Kong gamer edition. it had the exact visuals of the 360 version btu REQUIRED a 6800gt or higher. and ppl complained. developers arent stupid, they arent going to alienate a large percentage of pc gamers because the lesser percentage that buy super systems want 360 visuals.

They make alot more Smile because people are too lazy to learn how to use a computer xD

We will be laughing when we have DX10 + Crysis while the console kids are crying Smile

"plzplzplz port it ps3 is well strong enuff m8 YEEEEEEEEEEEEER m8"

hmmm I just finished the sat/blow up teh rocket mission Smile the biggest thing I hate about this game is... cutscenes Sad I walk up to the trailer at night then it cuts to cutscene at day :/ small thing... but annoying.
