This is a sweet game. I have everything turned up all the way at 1024x768 and it is beautiful with a 6800GS at 421/1201. When you hit the ball in the rough, the camera starts at the ball and pans around showing the ball and the blades of grass, ending at the shot ready view. A very nice touch. I like the camera after you hit the ball. It has many different looks.
I started a tournament and it was extremely fun. I had some bogies, birdies and eagled 18 to take a 2 stroke lead at -6 at the end of round 1. The gallery of people standing around are in 3D of course and look good. The grass and green textures look very good. The water looks fantastic as it should for a made in 2006 title. Bloom looks good but did seem to fog out right at the end when it was going to switch to another shot. Tiger looked realistic and the animation is excellent but his mannerisms were strange. I mean, I have seen Tiger Woods play many times on TV and I have never seen him this happy unless he is on the 18th hole winning a major tournament. The true stroke is very good. I find this game a little to easy though. The putting is forgiving. I did miss some putts though, so it isn't a fire and forget putting experience by any means.
I had no problem getting it to work. Installed with DTools 4.3, used KeyGen and copied crack into the BIN directory. I unmounted the game and executed it and it ran like a champ. I have also read that you can integrate the 2006 courses into 2007. I am a little disappointed they didn't offer like 30 courses or a separate course DVD. I am going to try playing with Hamachi for some MP. I have also read that there many courses made by amateur designers that are very good. There is someone named Instigator who is suppose to be really good and he made a Pinehurst course for 2007.
Finally, I don't really see that much a difference between 2006 and 2007. I honestly think this game should be worth $9.99 if you bought the 2006 version and can show a receipt.
Just my opinion.

Anyone having problem with aa and af? Getting a black screen during gameplay with it on, can only see the course minimap on the right hand side. Runs great with everything maxed out at 1280X1024, but always nice to have the aa aswell.

me too, ea sports pro tour something, guess the espn thing wont show up until you have your PGA tour card...

copecowboy I swear I have AA off in the ATI Cat control panel and it still is black screen when I try to play it . Using ATI 1900xt anyone else. Some of the AA setting or something Im missing WTF.

make sure af is off to, its really sucks because the difference with it on is incredibly noticable in this game, you can tell by looking at the player in the main menu how much shaper he looks.

its under the speciific section for pc features on thier site. maybe they mean the voices or whatever and not seeing espn logos nd tv cams n shit. |

yeah i checked the tw07 site. the espn feature is listed under pc as well, but there is no sign anywhere...no ticker no nothing. not even an espn logo....

Yah I know, still its not in the game, lol. For the espn feature it says the exact same for each system too. Had my tour card for 2 years now.

the game isnt due out till the 10th or so of next month, I doubt you will find anything in their forums. |
games arent only releasd in america |

do you play 24/7 or how do you have your pga card for 2 years already?  i just finished q-school last night, but i have to say that i played every single tournament so far, won every one easily. also i finished the team tour, that was kinda fun, but short...
