Area 51 is one of those mythical places on earth which we will probably never get the full scoop about.
It's quite interesting actually, and i've heard stories about people driving to the area who get stalked by the guards untill you get too close when they try to scare you off. You can also get arrested if you dont drive away. Not sure if they can just shoot you, but you never know...

I think it'd be awesome to have a star trek thing going on. Tons of different species living and mixing together. Who knows, there might be a planet of super hot model/non butch looking amazon women 
In all seriousness, I think it would be really cool to interact with a non human, intelligent lifeform. It would make humanity questions our origins and our deepest beliefs. Nothing wrong with change and growth.
Plus, its a waste of space if we are the only intelligent lifeforms around....think about it. Infinit space and planets, there must be a civilization more advanced than ours.
EDIT - Even better, a planet with Kate Beckinsale and Angelina Jolie clones! |

Racism is still rampant in our societies. We aren't ready to accept new species. It would be cool. Yes. But we're not ready for it. At least not in our lifetime.

I agree, humanity isnt ready to join the cosmo's, so to speak.
But we werent talking about humanity and its flaws and narrow minded views. We were talking about if we'd personally like to meet an alien. I could handle it...as long as they dont anal probe me, Im good. If something goes in my ass, im bringing their whole ship down  |

But how do you know they're not hostile? How do you know they're going to bring you back? How do you know they're going to set you up with anything?
I'd love to go into the unknown and all, but I would need all the answers up front. I wouldn't mind seeing the cosmos before being eaten, y'know? But I would just hate getting to see the vastness of space and then return home. It would make our planet seem rather insignificant.
That’s what worries me. With other life out there, it would make us look like we’re really nothing. Right now, as we stand with out concrete evidence, we’re pretty fucking special. We’re the only ones who can communicate. Think (freely). Create. Imagine. And if another life form comes down and greets us, well, what will we have?

So how long do you guys think it will take before the U.S government reveals what is inside Area 51 ?
The only time i can think of is when a alien has escaped a place or that it is a new supermarket in nevada.
