Alright for all the morons on here the game is in English all text at least. Here's how to set it up.
Install the game, Then go to the game folder look in your Resource folder and look for the file Startup_Eng.bmp copy it to the desktop.
Then install the German 1.1 patch after the patch is installed go back into the game folder and copy the file from the desktop back into the Resource folder, Open the loca.txt file put eng in it.
Go back to the main Die Gilde 2 folder and look for your config.ini open it up scroll down till you find // Language for localization
Language = "german"
Change it too english all text and menus in the game are in English. speech will still be in German but you can play the game this way. and you don't need the speech unless your that lazy about reading.
Pretty easy to do, If you can't figure it out you should just stop playing video games.
