came back from school... and my brother was like WTF... some retard flew into some big arse building in NY... I was like LOL WTFBBQ?
I started to watch it.. Than I saw the second airplain hit the WTC live :/
It's kinda scary that evryone knows what he/she did on that day

My father called, said to turn on the TV and watch CNN. So did I, watched it for a few minutes and then the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower.
And like most of you, I followed the news for the rest of the day.

Its not scary, its normal.
9/11 was the first foreign attack on the US/North America since WW2
It was a huge diaster that gripped the western world.
If the US, the worlds superpower can be attack, anyone is fair game you know? |

at home, I was having lunch, when a portuguese news network started to play the cnn stream about a plane crash in the wtc, then I changed the tv directly into cnn when just some few minutes later I saw another plane crashing into the 2nd tower, after that I immediatly understood that this had to be a terrorist attack, and I couldn't eat anything else, I just felt my body frozen for some seconds and after that I continued to follow the news until almost the morning of the next day.

Just arrived at school than all the tv,s came on and showed what was going on, Im in New Jersey just across the water from NYC so it was scary, I seen the second tower come down live, it will be a moment Ill never forget.

I was unemployed and sleeping. Woke up from a phonecall, watched the TV, got a call later a few days later from my old job who needed me back to build new computers for a lot of the companies that had offices in the WTC buildings who needed to relocate offices to my area.

I was at a coffeshop playing virtua tennis arcade, when suddendly there was a break on whatever was passing in tv, and started to show the plane crashing in WTC. It´s something I will always remember...

Heard about it on the radio .. spent the next few hours online .. knew a person who lived in NYC .. he & I talked while he watched it from his rooftop .. then he had to go because there was a widespread call for blood donors . .
Seems to me Katrina was more shocking & destructive .. 9/11 was just more of a political situation that gave rise to emergency actions & powers that we are still being made to deal with .
Let it lie .. really .. more people have suffered as a result of it than suffered in it ..
