This game is pretty good...not listen to the ones that said its crap lol. This game is better then NFSU in its career mode as well but you gotta like the Fast and Furious shit to appreciate this kind of game.

its not a racer its not even a sim,its crap,N4S Underground craps all over this big style.
I'm a avid racer fan,i'll try any racing game just because its my fav genre, but this isn't a good game, a poor man's rip of of a already successful franchise thats been done better.
The only other game that may rival N4S Underground is Street Racing Syndicate as this is a direct comparision against that genre and is made by Namco famous for its racing games (except for the last R RACING EVOLUTION which was a flop bigtime)
this game just blows bigtime, maybe fun for 1st 5mins or for under 10years olds, but for anyone else you need your heads testing.
Roll on the Racing games done by games companys that either A)have a succesfull franchies, B)know what they are doing
Roll on Outrun2,NFSU2,Burnout3,Street Racing Syndicate,Forza Motorsport
So enough of this Juiced 2nd rated game is good nonsense, its 2nd rated piece of crap trying to cash on a successful fanchies and failing miserably |
haha, it must be hard to live when you hate ppl who play games you dont like.

dont listen to what that guy said above..
it has been known for 2 1/2 years now that xbox has forced video mode output depending on your eeprom video settings.. so this game will play 100% in NTSC even tho its "PAL"
xbox software contains no video mode information.. the hardware determines output.. this is why labeling xbox releases PAL and NTSC is retarded.. but whatever.. the scene demonstrates what it really knows every time they nuke a game just because its out a week or 2 early and they think its beta.. even before looking at the files.. |
Do I use that Enigmah Video Mode select thingy or do I change something in my system settings (INI) in Evox? I changed the eprom video mode to PAL with Enigmah but my TV screen was going haywire (as expected) and was a pain to change back because I couldn't easily read the screen and had to memorize the button presses to advance to each screen to change it back to NTSC.
There is a game region setting in the setting/info for Evox that I can change from default/auto/NTSC/NTSC(JAP)/PAL.
What exactly do I do?

Well I think in that case it is down to the TV. If you have used the videoswitch to flash the chip and it still screws up then I think its a case of your TV not supporting PAL.

Anyone who has played this game understands that it isn´t supposed to be realistic, more arcade-ish...my first impression was *booring*, but i gave it 2 hours, and now it´s kinda fun. What i don´t like is the dull levels, they all look almost the same...but you can tell after 10 mins of play that this was made just for the "FnF" popularity.
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

Very very nice game. The graphics are far better than NFSU's laggy christmas tree visuals, the game has far more depth in almost every area. The sounds are great and theres a real sense of speed. It has tons of replay value and theres some amazing cars, my favoruite so far is my 970BHP Dodge charger. Infact the only aspect of the game that isn't quite as good as NFSU is the soundtrack but we all know EA has the money to liscence just about any song in the world for a game soundtrack. As for the whole retail/beta/promo arguement, this game doesn't SEEM like a beta. It looks and feels complete and it hasn't crashed on me yet. I see no reason why this isn't a final build but we won't know for sure until the game is in stores. Definately worth a try though.

I am also a big fan of racing games. People say its crap because its an arcade racer? there is nothing wrong with arcade racing games. I am looking forward to seeing this game. If anyone ever tried "Richard Burns Rally" that is a fine example, where the creators try and create a simulation driving game, and that is the worst racing game ive played in a long long time. Too much simulation and forget about the fun aspect. N4S:U isnt as bad as many people make out, but i guess its all down to personal opinion.

I guess you have lost the respect of all other teams then because you need respect to attend/join races

I finally tested the game, and i have to say i am very impressed with it.
It has great handling and superb graphics (a bit like PGR2 i have to say)
game play is good, some of the music gets annoying after a while, but i have to say, one of the best recent releases on the xbox in recent months,

IMO this game beats NFSU hands down. Juiced has a lot of nice new ideas, good handling and great graphics. Gives very good challenge too. You really have to concentrate to keep up with other cars. Crew and betting systems are nice too.

Acclaim, the publisher of Juiced, filled in for bankruptcy and let go all its 600 employees last Friday.
That means, the official release of Juice is unknown until another company will eventually publish it.
I won't be surprised if that publisher's gonna be EA.

EA? Why would they want to publish a game that is a carbon copy of their NFSU game? Especially when they have NFSU2 out soon...
