no compare it to tycoon games, but it's a wholly original game so theres really no comparison unless you've played the first one.

I got the beta 1.1 off one of the developers to see if it fixed my problems, it didn't fix my rebooting, and the rebooting didn't start until I had that patch so likely a new bug introduced in that patch Mad

how fast do you reckon a patch and a crack for it will take to be released..?

a crack for the current version won't take long, for the next update will prolly take weeks,if at all.

Aye it is, you can however use the image as cd identifier whenever you get the english version, you can also install it and test it see if you experience any of the bugs I did so you know what or hopefully not to expect.

I don't mind downloading a big game like for instance Battle for middle earth 2, such a game is assured financial success even before it hits the retailers, but games which I like and have been developed by smaller studios I like to pay money for, moral or not how can anyone be sure to get more entertainment they like if they aren't willing to pay for it?

I bought relic's first games when they were a small studio, because their games was fun, look where they are today "Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40k" so if people hadn't bought their games to begin with even though at that point there were people who said "Thats not a strategy game lol, C&C is better than that, or too complex noone likes this except spread sheet nerds" but people bought their games and look at all the cool games that enabled them to develop Wink

Wish I was fluent in German Sad

I really enjoyed the concept of the original - resorting to kidnapping, blackmail, holy propoganda, and every other dirty trick in the book when "trading" just wasn't paying the bills Very Happy The only things that really killed it were the constant random crashes and other bugs. Still, it managed to keep my attention for weeks at a time.

Did a bit of reading on this sequel and ran across something that said you manage multiple characters at once? Is this true? Think I would prefer just the one character at a time approach.

Yes you manage your kids and your hired masters, which can quickly get very annoying.

Exactly what I thought would happen. Crying or Very sad
Wish they would have add an option to disable that.
Moreso, I don't know why the hell they even added it in there in the first place. Trying to emulate The Sims I guess. Sad

So, that patch addressed the system reboots you were having? Does the game still crash at random alot as the original did?

Are all the oldschool professions still present?

Overall, do you feel the gameplay is better or wose than the original?
