It always amazes me when some ppl cry about having to unplug/disable IDE channel and makes me ask the question...is it because you have a problem SELLING your copies on the street? after all the AVERAGE punter won't know his IDE from his arse. Maybe all games should be released like this!
If you are a keen gamer and want a game for PERSONAL use and not for profiteering...BE GRATEFULL GODDAMMIT!

SF3 is a very time consuming protection to crack (duh!), you can either buy the game (as we all do <cough>), wait *possibly* months for a cracked release (if it's even done), or be content with a mini image for now, and pray you ladies don't break a nail unplugging the cd drive.
I really see no need for all the whining, if don't like it don't download it! Simple eh?

Found out from Stegg in the Isonews forums, but you have to disable the IDE channel the cdrom drives are on, not just the drives itself. The option should be set to both, change that to Primary. Should work

Unplugging the IDE Power cable or disabling it in bios sucks for me!
My only chance is to remove the drive from my notebook.
Or I test it without doing anything!
Is this game worth a download anyway?

LOL dont make me piss in my pants wtf are u talking about pirating is pirating is pirating ... what does it matter if its a gamer in his home or a person selling it on a street its the same to me and on another note this "nlite" thingy u have to make an image and then install a fresh copy of winxp on ur system but how u disable this protected system file the sf3 protection installs ? that i didnt get sorry

It may be the same to you but the law makes a huge distinction as in fine or prison term. I too have had the same thought about the whiners as disabling an ide drive is at most a very minor inconvinence and a really pathetic thing to moan about.

Can u tell me some more details like settings , datatype etc etc etc and what version of alcohol or burn speed etc etc .

I am still trying to find this game , but I tested Chaos Leage, and I think my theories are correct, without the MS System file service running these games work fine without unpluging drives.
Beyond Divinity and Chaos League both work fine.
BTW, I don't think there is such a thing as a no cd crack for SF3

and u point is!!! with saying older version ? point is they can crack it , it just takes time, everyone said after reloaded released kill switch ow they have cracked starforce well yes and no , yes is it was already cracked but it takes just a shitload of time to crack it , and the no is simple if it was as easy as some people thought after that release then they probaly cracked each starforce game , so if u want it fast just buy it .
