i have a problem to connect to xbox live i am connecting it to a modem thomson tcm 425 the 3 first tests are confirmed and at the mtu test it`s failed what should i do?
direct connection or thru pc? if thru pc...make sure that udp ports 53,88 & 3074 and tcp port 3074 are open on firewall also try tcpoptimizer. your mtu needs to be at least 1500 for live to work
Check your modem settings, there should be an MTU setting, put it at 1478 or something like that.. unless of course what FWB is correct with the "has to be at least 1500".. if thats the case MS are dumbasses ..

the 1500 is taken from ms website... did a search on xbox 360 live problems... was really well hidden... took me ages to get my live working thro my firewall
