You don't need to remove any cable, they used old nfo Wink, disable drives in bios and you are set, unfortunately SF3 guys know too

Yes, you can nuke them and don't see most of these games at all or you can crack and decrypt SF3 instead Wink

i bet more ppl d/l clones than half the TV eps. you cant base a nuke on the popularity. its the best they can do at this moment in time so you cant ask for more really. just because one sf3 got cracked doesnt mean all versions are.

The disabling in BIOS strategy doesn't work for everyone. I'm one of the ones that does need to shut off their computer completely, unplug the cables, and start it up again...something that irritates the holy hell out of me. I don't like warm rebooting as it is, and nearly needing a cold boot in order to play a game is insane.

That is, unless something has changed since that Beyond Divinity release a couple weeks ago? Someone needs to crack this protection in half and get rid of the physical component, even if you have to spend 20 minutes doing something in software to get it done. Hardware stress is crap.

Well if it is the same as Beyond Divinity , it works fine for me without unplugging anything. I just removed that Protected system file service with nlite. And no fucking around with cdrom drives, just unpack and mount. run the game wait about 20 seconds and it runs. Will test and post the result on this one when I download it.

Care to explain what the "nlite" thing is and what it does. I've disabled my drives in my bios. The other cd reader option is not possible for me as I only have burners in my pc.

nLite is a program to remove stuff from your windows XP even before you install it.

Nlite is a slipstreamer for WindowsXP/2003.
Quote:
nLite lets you choose which components to remove from your Windows 2000, XP or 2003 before installation. Removing unneeded components you gain on your system speed and security. It supports removal of almost any component and few services. You can make a bootable ISO with it and even easy slipstream Service pack with a click of a button. Now added easy cd-key implementation so you don't need to enter it during setup.

Latest Changes:
Added: Driver Integration
Added: Logical Disk Manager service
Added: Removable Storage service
Added: NetDDE service
Added: COM+, DTC, MSMQ and SENS services (4in1)
Added: Admin Visual Basic Scripts
Added: MakeISO progress log
Fixed: registry import problem with Policies
Fixed: missing autoexec and config.nt
Fixed: virtual cd install

http://nuhi.msfn.org/

you have to reinstall after removing all the crap from your install CD. But it is worth it,

No system Restore
No Security Center
No crappy themes
No IE
No Media Player
No Unwanted drivers & Services
No Task manager

Too much to list here.

What you get is a fully working windows , without being bloated and full of usless crap.

PS . I only have 2 burners no cdroms.

i hope that wasnt directed at me

if so

1. i dont care about this game 99% of the games i play i buy
d-day wont be one of them because it sucks
2. in my opinion a release should be properly cracked not something like this (unplug power cable) and it has nothing to do with being lazy its just a bad cracking job
if you cant crack it then dont bother releasing it

3. if it wasnt directed at me sorry , but this is just the way i feel about it

If U think U can do it better why dont U , but for me and im sorry to say this for people with a big mouth towards people that release stuff just stfu if U cant do it uself , and be pleased for those people that maybe like those releases , dont get me wrong I dont like them either cause removing cables suck but by telling a group not to release free shit is pathetic.

since starforce uses IDE-CDROM informations from the BIOS, it is "enough" to disable the drives in the bios

since this isn't even released as a cracked gamed, why should it include a crack?

This is a clone release, if you don't like clones, just ignore it altogheter like the rest of the clones that are released.

I always prefer cracked games to clone cds, but I don't have a problem with this release. It makes the game available to all those crackers on the net who might give it a shot.
