Don't think there is. The only upcoming decent racers I see for PC are NFS:C and TDU. So wait until Ocrober 24th and get your hands on TDU. 1000 miles of road are pretty good enough to keep you busy for a while.

Well, if bashing is saying that I'll probably be playing one game longer than the other, then you're right. And I know that Atari has made some release fuck-ups in the past, but I'm still optimistic about TDU.

IF you just want to dirve then i recommend you: driv3r too
The driving part of the game is very good just the TPS part was bad
Physics is very good and he controll of the car is good too (mainly with a PC wheel)

You funny kids NFS and all that crap is not a simulator , its an arcade where u can take turns
at 150 miles per hour when 90% of real car physics are invalid .
u want a simulator try Racer www.racer.nl ... download a small 10 meg file and launch u can also download cars and tracks , its a bit ... alot ... hardcore and played with the mouse for maximum control , preperable wheel if u got one ... but i feel its also a bit to harsh .... u want a car simulator get over 16 or 18 and get a licence and try the real thing .
u want games ? dont ask about real car simulators .
anyway the most realistec car simulators that i can think off are the gran turismo series and richard burns rally .

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Grand Turismo is very poor at recreating realistic car handling. In other words, it's arcade. But you are quite right about RBR.
