Well to make a cheat for a game like this is super easy with for example Cheat Engine or just use Tsearch. I think its not necessary but, check this link out.
http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=135131
Your basic strategy to win in skirmish is "go for the Victory Points fast, defend with MC or Jeep (depending if you are Axis or Allied) Hold these points until you built infantry etc. Then go for Fuel and Ammo etc. This will cause the enemy to start loosing points. Remember to Fortify these points as you build up more hardware etc etc.
PS, this is not really your average RTS game...that's why I like it so much. It has a lot of depth and many variations to build up your strategy and army...sort of endless really.

Played the game on vista to see the difference , well the only thing diffrent are the bump maping and the shadows on the people , the other things are the same , but those effects are only on in the cut-scenes , not in the main game . But the diffrence is visible , the same with smoke effects and the light effects in the test mode .

yeah i know that but its emualtes dx10 effects on my dx9+ card (slowed down the game from 69 fps to 28fps ), but for now you can now see that the GFX will be great , those shadows and bump mapings are the same like on xbox360 , but too bad they are only in the cuts scenes .

Are you sure that Vista emulates DX10 on DX9 cards? Can you confirm this with a comparative screenshot (COH on XP vs on Vista) or some screenshot of DXDiag?

I do have Vista RC1, but I only use it for Apps. I have a clean lightweight XP installation for games, as from what I've noticed 3D gaming performance in Vista is not in par with XP yet, and I've sent NVidia an e-mail asking them about that. (BTW, they have a very friendly Windows Vista team that actually bother responding again and again instead of sending out copy-pasted auto-responses.)
I'll have to do the comparison myself once I grab the full release, I guess.

You are all morons! How can a DX9 card emulate DX10 features?! It's like saying a DX8 card can have things like PS3 and full HDR... Heck, I can play Call of Juarez on my Voodoo 5... I just activate the DX9 emulation... Sheesh, just think!

I'm a long time member, but I don't post here often.
But I could not resist on this one.
First of all: You DO NOT get DX10 effects on your Beta Vista. D-O N-O-T. There are some references in Windows Vista that may lead some to believe that there is a DX10 there, but there isn't.
The "small" difference you see is caused by:
- you are probably running a different vid. driver on Vista l
- placebo effect.
Bottom line> DX10 is simply not available to the public neither on HARDWARE nor on SOFTWARE. Not even the review sites (both on soft and hard) have HANDS ON acess to DX10.
Second: You CAN emulate DX10 effects on a DX9 based system. That was actually done in a closed demonstration of Crysis on the E3. But that was only used to show how those effects can look like. It takes way too much processing power to emulate those effects on a DX9 card, as I said: it is used only for demonstration. Don't expect to see a DX9 card pulling DX10 effects.
P.S.: Sorry about my English... It is not my main language.

Oh, DX10 is there allright, the runtime and the specifications. The problem is, with a DX9 card, you won't really feel the difference. Like when you had a DX8 card, and installed DX9. Many people said they felt "general smoothness and higher fps." but this was technically impossible as they were using the same old DX8 cards.
And ofcourse everything can be emulated. Even with a onboard DX6 card you can *render* DX13 stuff, but the problem is, you want it in REALTIME, as in 40-90 fps, not a 1/12 fps (1 frame per 12 secs.).

It had already seemed kind of strange to me that Vista could suddenly make games look better, but I wasn't aware of all that information.
Thanks everyone, especially discaciate. I'll stop calling myself computer-savvy for a year or two after that embarrassment.
EDIT: I'm so glad I'm part of this community sometimes...

Thanks. That was really helpful. Especially the moron part. Reaaally. Go take a cold shower, won't you?

Hfric....its common sense man DX9 cards DO NOT have the features that DX10 have. just because it says DX9 is installed in the dxdiag doesnt mean its a workign feature on your card. for example, i had a gf4 Ti 4800 <--DX8 card. now i installed HALO, and guess what ...you get NONE of the DX9 features. ie. PS2.0. so yea, just think a little harder before you post.

Could they mean that 'some' of the features 'may' be emulated in software enviroment, meaning a performance hit off course. Nothing to do with what cards features are, apart from if dx10 card or not?
I know shit, please be nice, LOL.
